Emma Nails on 72nd Street - A neighborhood Favorite, New York NY

It’s my favorite manicure spot for many years! Now the new spa pedicure with massage my new favorite! My legs and feet feel so relaxed!

Linda does an amazing job! Her gel mani is perfect. The massage and eyebrows threading are great too. And fair prices. Really recommend.

Made an appointment for mani/pedi. I arrived on-time and a woman eventually performed a mediocre pedicure on me, being pushy and trying to upsell. The woman in the chair beside me was injured by her nail tech, who was also trying to upsell. They left me sitting for 45 minutes for my manicure and offered a woman with no appointment a manicure ahead of me. I ended up leaving. The vibe in this place is unpleasant. They wanted to sit me next to a half-naked, groaning man getting a a full-body massage for my manicure. Um… ick? And not relaxing at all. I would say you get what you pay for- they’re cheap- but, actually you don’t, really. Too many nail salons in the area to ever try this place again.

Terrible service - I had to ask the woman to stop completely. Had them done yesterday and the polish is already chipped. Save your money and time - go somewhere else.

The lady from the salon used water from my pedicure (the tub where I soaked my feet) for my manicure. This is so gross. Constantly tried to sell me another service which I didn’t need. I wish I read all the negative reviews before I went there.

Emma Nails & Spa is the only place I will go for a mani/pedi in NYC! This is by far the CLEANEST, most AFFORDABLE salon on the UWS with the HIGHEST QUALITY MANICURE. All clients at Emma's are treated with time and care. My manicures from here last 2X LONGER then from anywhere else (even salons with way higher prices). The women working at Emma's are kind, careful, and patient. They will always make sure you leave happy. The salon is newly renovated and always EXTREMELY CLEAN and hygienic. Trust me, give Emma's a try and you will never go to another nail salon again!

First time trying this. Very impressed with how sweet and patient all the ladies working here. Three of us getting spa pedicure at same time, I can see the ladies helping each other and taking care of customers together. Nice to see the sweetness and caring from people. The owner is super friendly!

Most affordable mani pedi in NYC! Have been going here regularly for almost a decade and they have never disappointed!

The place just got renovated this year. Very affordable price in the neighborhood. The staff here have 10 plus year experience. Highly recommended if you live in the neighborhood!

Updated: I see the owner responded below saying they are never rude, but unfortunately that was my experience. They were dismissive and when I showed them my nails hadn’t been properly cut and cuticles were a mess they argued with me and it was a very unpleasant experience. I understand they were overbooked but I waited for a long time as well, and received bad service.

Original review: The worst manicure/pedicure I’ve ever received. I asked them to repair it and they refused. Very rude and impatient — I think they overbooked and I wanted to be understanding, but they were so unkind I felt I had to write this.

First time visiting Emma spa - it was great! The newly renovated space is clean and beautiful, and you can’t beat $36 for a mani/pedi. Can’t find that price anywhere on the upper west! Owner and staff were SO friendly! Will definitely be back!

I have been using this places for sixteen years. All the workers are genuine and care for what they do. This place just re-opened with a fresh look. Phone doesn't work: (But walk in is fine.

I came here al the time for mani/pedi. I think the place is great for the prices. Today the place was closed, the phone number was out of service and some handyman/worker was working inside. I'm afraid it might be permanent. Very disappointed. I wish I would know where some of the staff ended up.

I go to Emma Nail and Spa once a week and love the ladies who work here. Great care and they do my nails so well. Plus $30 for a mani AND pedi is an incredible value! Highly recommend.
