My sister recently visited this hair salon in my neighborhood with high hopes of achieving the exact hairstyle she had in mind. Although coming to this salon with many photos, her experience at this salon turned out to be quite disappointing as they failed to deliver on their promise of recreating the hairstyles from the photos.

Upon entering the salon, she was greeted by friendly staff and the ambiance was pleasant. The stylist seemed professional and attentive as we discussed the specific details of the hairstyles she brought along. She showed them several photos, highlighting the particular elements she wanted to incorporate into her hair, making it clear she wanted the length to stay relatively long but also include layers.

However, as the stylist began working on her hair, it quickly became evident that they were not following the photos nor attempting to recreate the styles she had shown them. Instead, they seemed to have their own interpretation, deviating significantly from what she had requested. The end result bore little resemblance to the hairstyles she had brought as references.

The stylist seemed more focused on their own preferences rather than ensuring customer satisfaction, which included picking another photo than the ones that were shown, a photo of a haircut that had little to no resemblance to the original reference images. This lack of communication and attention to detail was highly disappointing.

Additionally, the overall quality of the haircut did not meet her expectations. The final outcome lacked precision and appeared rushed, with noticeable inconsistencies in length and texture. It was clear that the stylist did not possess the necessary expertise to deliver the style she had envisioned. She left feeling dissatisfied and regretful, as her hair was far from the stylish and polished look she had hoped to achieve.

A similar situation occurred when I went to the salon, where I asked for the ends of my hair to be trimmed. This then led to my stylist cutting off most of my hair, despite being told that there was no need for such an excessive haircut. Even with telling the stylist multiple times that I was there for the ends to be trimmed, I left incredibly unsatisfied that more than a few inches were cut off.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend this hair salon based on my experience. Their inability to replicate the hairstyles from the provided photos, combined with the lackluster service and the disappointing final outcome, left me feeling frustrated. If you're seeking a salon that can accurately bring your hairstyle inspirations to life, I would advise looking elsewhere.

Emma does beautiful curly cuts, highly recommend. Very busy during rush hour so reserve ahead.

I had the most wonderful experience today at Emma’s salon. I’m so happy I noticed the place while driving by and decided to give it a try.
The owner, Emma is a lovely lady and expert hair cutter. She understood exactly what I wanted and did a fantastic job.
The prices are all posted and very reasonable. I liked the feel of the place the minute I went in and knew this was the place for me! I’ll be back with many happy returns.
