Empire State Building reviews
13Great experience all around. Very clean and educational. Staff were VERY friendly and knowledgeable. No complaints from our party.
It’s a wonderful view from above, you can see downtown Manhattan to the world trade, the edge building towards Jersey side, could even see queens but the best view would be seeing midtown up to Central Park.
Epic views of the city, a definite must-see when visiting NYC. The little museum they have has a lot of cool history about the construction etc of the building.
Beautiful view of all of New York City, the information and the videos around it was also really entertaining to watch.
Thought I would be disappointed after waiting in the long line, but I was not! I enjoyed the views and the observation deck I had seen in so many movies.
This place is worth visiting! Great view of nyc's skyscraper from 86th floor. Kids will love it too.
Had such a lovely time on a surprise date with my boyfriend in NYC, great views, interesting history!
It was amazing to see the whole city from here. People find the tickets a little expensive, but it was worth it. If you don't live in New York, you should go.
Great view of the city, and the night sky is breathtaking. Did not see king Kong so that is a plus. They do have metal detectors and TSA like security when wanting to visit and view the overlook.
The views are amazing both day and night but like everything in New York after you pay to go up to the top. There is still a bit a little higher and if you want to go up that you have to pay again. A theme throughout New York.
Well worth visiting. One of our highlights of our trip. Worth the admission fee to see the view from the top! Quite incredible. The staff aren't very friendly which is a shame. The main ticket gives you access to 2 levels of views (not the 3rd) and you aren't allowed to go back to the levels, they are quick to usher you back to the lift to go down, so take your time on each level before going back in the lift. If you are visiting NY, you will want to go here.
It's a great experience to have looking down at the city especially at night time with so many lights shining bright
Attention all out of towners: this is a native born and bred New Yorker speaking to all tourists. Welcome to the Big Apple! But please observe some sidewalk etiquette so we who live and work here can get about our streets without being slowed down by gawking people from Tucson or Toledo, Dayton or Dubuque, Boise or Birmingham or whatever place you're from. Back home you probably drive everywhere and the only time you walk is inside a mall. Out streets aren't a mall! DON'T walk 3 or 4 abreast, very slowly, looking nowhere and everywhere. Please don't walk more than two abreast. We New Yorkers need to get where we're going in what you call a NY minute-your expression, not ours. Now enjoy your trip here and spend your money. NY is a great tourist town but very expensive, right? So it is for us. NOW GET OUT OF OUR WAY! PLEASE!
