Optometrist Empire Visionworks reviews
19I have been waiting 5 weeks for my contacts to come in. 1 person says they don't have an order even though I have a receipt another says they are on back order which I have been told 3 weeks now and 1 says it should never take 5 weeks for an order.still no answers!
Have waited a month for my glasses! They lost them! Unwilling to do anything to make up for it! Absolutely horrible! They never answer phones! Will be taking my family of 10 elsewhere!
Great vision care, if you can get through to them on the phone,
But I've watched my wife try all morning (for the third time since the middle of last week) and she can't. The quality of care is great, but if she can't order contacts or glasses (in this instance, BOTH), then it's useless.
Flexible for appointment times. My girlfriend ordered contacts 2 months ago and they still have yet to arrive even though they are not on a back order. Unacceptable.
Slowest service ever. Came in for an appointment at 3: 10. My appointment was at 3: 15 and it took over 50 minutes to see me. Then after I picked out a pair of glasses it took another 50 minutes until I could actually buy them. Oh and they didn't have a bathroom to use publicly either. Overall they were not qualified, and I'm never coming back here again. The staff was overall nice, and trying to help, but the times we're atrocious.
Have been on hold on the line for 40 minutes NO ONE answers their phone. Online chat no help with my question. I understand they may be short staffed but please don't call expecting to speak with someone! Maybe it's better to just show up at their location!
Finally got the attention via email. This store and company has lost two long standing customers (50,) years of loyalty. Good luck to you all.
The staff are nice but the wait times are unbelievable. I spent over an hour waiting to just pick up my glasses. Spent over two hours for the appointment. I don't recommend unless you enjoy waiting unreasonable amounts of time.
They call tell u your gasses are gone then u drive 2 hours to find out there not done yet been over 2 weeks since I went they order them not happy with the service
The wait time for the doctor was a bit, but it was worth it for the care I received. The doctor was so enthusiastic and helpful. He went above and beyond. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
Always waiting 2+ hours. Last appointment my daughter was told that she needed glasses all of the time AND bifocals.she walked in with NO glasses. Took her to Eye Care center in Geneva, they said she did NOT need glasses and has 20/30 vision. Spent over $600 on glasses at Visionworks that she DOESN'T even need! And now, have been on hold over 10 min. 3 times trying to call and cancel the order!
Never answer phone or at Texas location. All computerized. Promised dates not upheld, status delayed no information. Customer service leaves alot to be desired.
. Still waiting for reply. Involving insurance company to help us
Have emailed and called.multiple times daliy.
In and out in under an hour, late appointment on a Saturday. Quick exams, remote interaction with the lab and optometrist. Nice people staffing this location
When I came in, in need of help one of the guys at the front desk was very rude. He spoke to me like I was dumb, and acted like he wanted nothing to do with helping any of the customers. Slammed his tablet down like it was a burden for me to need help. I left in tears. I wish I got his name, he was absolutely awful to me and I never want to come back again
I can be forgiving with technology issues, but when technology brings your business to a screeching halt, it might be time to find alternative ways. Paper and then input later? I counted a least 8 employees (2 of which had no idea what they were doing). I feel bad for the one girl who knew how to do everything. She needs a raise!
Gone here for years. Always quick, has good informed employees, exams are thorough, and atmosphere puts you at ease. Thanks!
Staff was super friendly. The eye exam was very interesting, it's done via tele-med. Every aspect of the exam was explained and the doctor reviewed the results. The staff was very helpful in helping me pick out my first pair of glasses. Thank you Visionworks.
I had a great experience at Empire Visionworks yesterday. It was busy but I had an appointment and was taken for pretesting before seeing the doctor. The young lady who helped me was great. I opted for the retinal imaging versus being dilated, which I've always hated. They seemed to have state of the art equipment.
I only waited a few minutes for the doctor and he was excellent. He carefully explained my vision issues which are minor and he took his time with me.
I then waited for the optical side of the office to call my name and assist with choosing frames and lenses, she was fantastic, shout out to Allyssa.
My vision insurance changed and I had limited places to go. I am happy I chose this business and can't wait to pick up my new glasses.
I honestly wouldn’t even give them 1 star just had to do it for review. Absolutely terrible service. Had one lady humiliate me in front of everyone as I just got on my own insurance and didnt know how it worked. I then got told my insurance wouldn’t work because they couldn’t add the hyphen in my last name which is a THEM problem. And LASTLY was told they would take my insurance period, even though it covers full vision and I had just used it for extreme hospital bills. Sounds like they all need to learn to do their job. ️
