It’s a rare thing to discover a bank that genuinely cares about the people it serves and Empower is that kind of bank. The most accommodating, professional, proficient bank I have dealt with! I have never encountered a bank that totally helps as well as understands their customers. The manager, Roy, goes above and beyond. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
ATM at the Empower Baldwinsville branch has ‘technical’ issues. I deposited $700 in cash only to receive a receipt that said ‘sorry’ technical problems, see teller inside. My cash was NOT returned. Went inside to teller who informed me they ‘aren’t responsible for the ATM and I can’t get my money back, you have to file a dispute’. Not a good way to do business. If this happens to you, be sure to ask for the manager to get your deposit credited.
I really want to give them a better review. But wow customer service in branches is always wonderful the convenience of mobile checking sucks! I hate how long it takes for mobile deposits to clear. And your ATMs never work. Fix this and I'll give you a 5-star rating don't fix it and you're going to get one. I feel like I was generous today.
