I love this place. They are extremely attentive and have gone above and beyond for me.

I'm happy with my counselor and have zero complaints about the quality of the services. I give four stars as I do think there are some scheduling issues, though I think they may just be victim to a bad scheduling system. The very first time I was called to schedule an appointment, it took over 30 minutes. The staff member would find a date and time, I'd agree to it, and then they'd realize there was some reason that date couldn't work. This probably happened three times during the course of the call. I was also told that I could only do a virtual visit for the very first session, but was later told that isn't true, plus some miscommunication early on about the type of session (e.g, receiving a call surprised that I hadn't come in, when I'd scheduled a virtual session). I've had one appointment get dropped by the system, however my counselor still saw me even though I was not in her schedule. These issues happened mostly during the first few months of my time with Endeavor and certainly aren't enough to make me quit, but it may be something you encounter.

Edit: wanted to add that I'm still receiving meds through my GP and not through Endeavor (yet?) so my experience so far does not include depending on Endeavor for prescriptions.

I will never recommend anybody to get services from them. You can never talk to your counselor or doctor. And they is the worse when trying to get the meds you need.

I had 3 online appointments via Microsoft Teams from their location on William with a woman named Maggie. Who was extremely unprofessional. Just earlier today I barely survived a traumatizing and unfortunate experience with an ableist white female counselor who while I was hysterical and in the middle of a meltdown was determined to dehumanize me and my experience and centered herself throughout our visit.

After asking me how I was doing since I guess my response was way too much for her to process. She was perplexed I think by my mentioning of social economic barriers and how tumultuous my experience had been so far. She assured me that she wasn't able to support me in any way. And to add to that, in the middle of a meltdown, she asked me what exactly is it that I was I looking for from our visits. I was very vocal about what I was experiencing and she treated me without any empathy nor mutual respect.

Her and women like her are desperately in need of what should be a mandatory and annual sensitivity training, cultural competency, diversity, equity and inclusion multi day workshops that highlight trauma informed care with patients in particular. Her reaction was inappropriate, incompetent and lacked simple human kindness if I am being honest.

It is 2023 and we really must at the very least mimic a strive toward better care for our patients (at least while we are clocked in at work). Especially within communities that are disproportionately affected by social determinants of health. The cost of this level of ignorance is far too expensive.
