I brought my girlfriend here to do a colonoscopy and her appointment was at 12: 30 and we had to ask what’s the hold up. They didn’t see her until well after 1: 30. Now why have a appointment at one time and have people in here hungry and waiting for over a hour. I can see a few minutes but a whole hour and a half? !

This place is excellent, I loved their customer service, starting with the front desk girls, nurses and doctors, they are extraordinarily excellent. They have excellent customer service. It was my first time in this place and it was my best decision to have a colonoscopy. Thank you, you made me feel welcome. All the staff are very friendly and professional I can think that they might have an excellent manager because that reflects on their employees. My doctor is one of the best. Mr. Anfang, Chaim MD

I went for Colonoscopy with Dr Chaim Anfang MD on 4/28/2022. I was 10 Yrs overdue because I was so afraid to have Anesthesia and never had one before. Dr Chaim Anfang was so reassuring that I was going to be fine and if I didn’t want Anesthesia I didn’t have to have it. He has Excellent bedside manners and I trust him 100%. Throughout my procedure we talked he explained everything to me as I watched on the camera and felt very secure it was amazing to see. It did hurt a little around the turns of the colon but nothing drastic it went quick and he was so gentle I was praising him throughout the procedure. I am so happy I choose him for my Gastro doctor. I highly recommend him and I hope he never retires.lol. Thank you Dr Chaim Angfang for the wonderful treatment you gave me. Next I would like to Thank Nurse Gill Gagandeep she assisted Dr Chaim Angfang with my procedure and held my hand throughout the procedure and I felt so calm. I had a great team.

Some less then tactful nurse at that Northwell Endosopy Center in the Garden City NY facility (assigned to prep me for my colonoscopy) named Lisa I believe had her mask on below the nose and said my glucose level was out of control and that I was Diabetic and no longer Pre Diabetic. When I explained I ate a whole lot of sweets (jello, lemon drops) the day before the colonoscopy thinking that my glucose level would get to low otherwise without solid food. She immediately continued to repeat her claim to me that I was now Diabetic. Increasing a patients anxiety just before a procedure I thought was callous and unprofessional. All the other nurses were great and positive. One even agreed with me that from one test you can't conclude that someone is Diabetic.

I had a colonoscopy at ECLI of LI.and being 59 and never have had anesthesia or sedation.my nerves was high and I was not sure if I was going to leave. Nurse Jen thank you. She went over my info and put my IV in great. Jen thank you so much for your understanding me. Then in recovery I had Regina she was also great. Thank you both so much. I can tell you these nurses care
Dr Novak Was also very good if you need a gastro doctor he very nice and cares.
This place was also covert safety and free. I don't have it and I don't want it.

My mom has had 2 procedures here in the past year and both have been pretty positive experiences. You can't have anything after midnight regardless of what time your appointment is: whether you appointment is at 9am or 12: 30pm you have to stop at the same time. I think that that is to make things easier for the staff not for the patient. Most of the nursing staff is excellent. The only other negative is that the place can be hard to find. 711 is a very large building including the LA Fitness and BJ's on the other side. I have had an UBER pick us up both times (since I don't have my license) and they have had immense trouble finding it. I wish there was a better way for people to find the place.

Good and bad. Front desk woman who checked me in was cold as ice. You show up nervous and ill from being up all night with the prep and the first person you meet was awful. She had no name tag, short, blond, but didn't seem to be one of the team. The others seemed nicer. Once past her the experience got progressively better although its a factory. The nurse getting me ready with the IV, etc.was clearly overwhelmed trying to balance numerous patients at once. She was pleasant but had too much to handle. Again, not the care you would hope for but not her fault. Concentrate on one patient at a time please instead of starting, stopping, leaving and returning. The post op nurses were excellent. The whole atmosphere changed to patient, friendly, caring, taking their time with everyone, etc. Huge thanks to them!
