Sorry but I’ve been here for an hour and still have not been seen. I’m sure they run a great practice but did a horrible job with my 3: 40 appointment that was apparently double booked - did not have the courtesy to tell me either or the other patient who arrived 30 mins after me but was seen first. As I overheard her she apparently was confined for 4: 40 but got my 3: 40 instead of me. Really displeasing experience with the clerical staff. Hopefully the clinician is better.

I have left a lot of Doctors offices recently frustrated, feeling not heard and tired of Doctors pushing drugs on me without an understanding of what is causing my symptoms. Not here at ENT. Dr. Colen and staff are great! I left feeling like they care about their patients and want to find the root of what is causing my health issues. Thank you!

I had been having repeated nosebleeds that were becoming more frequent and heavier. This is a common problem in general, but not for me. Dr. Russo listened to my account of the past two weeks. He didn't cut me off or interrupt. He understood what was bothering me and asked a number of relevant questions. He treated me gently and quickly, minimal pain or discomfort. My problem was solved and Dr. Russo explained how to do follow-up self care.

He was able to explain and give clarity for my allergies and bedside manner was superb. Wouldn’t go any other place for my ENT issues.

Great atmosphere for a doctor's office and calm. The receptionist are a breeze especially if you pre registered by the app like already filled out forms (Hint) you just take a seat and wait to be called. Dr. Colen is very informative in regards of any ear issues you might have and listens to your concerns.

Here works the best otolaryngologist Dr. Vastola. He is the best in NY. Can’t say that I’m happy to visit him), because it is always health problems (. But the office is beautiful and has amazing view, staff friendly and absolutely fantastic doctor. I’m sure in his professionalism and trust him to treat my child since 2017 year. My 2 docs “pediatrics” know him as the best kids doc, and approved my choice. He is the best from the best for kids! No waiting time, even I’m late. There is kids zone. Very friendly atmosphere.

Fast to make an appointment and be seen. Sometimes even same day. Nice decor. Calm and inviting setting.

I had a very good experience at ENT and Allergy Associates Brooklyn Heights. I was able to schedule an appointment online for a date two weeks earlier than the ENT my primary care physician suggested. I was experiencing a sudden onset of "tinnitus" in both ears. Once I realized I wasn't going crazy, I hoped that it was caused by stress. Especially when it wasn't constant and went away briefly. Then the hissing sound returned and was now constant. I wasn't sure if I should see an ENT or an audiologist. I saw my internist first and asked him about it. The great thing about ENT and Allergy Associates is I saw both an audiologist and a otolaryngologist (ENT) during the same appointment. It is a one stop shop if you schedule your appointment on a date when you can also see an audiologist. I first saw Dr. Jaclyn Castoro, a doctor of audiology. She has a great bedside manner and put me at ease. Dr. Castoro explained exactly what she was going to do to test my hearing. Her explanation was thorough and I felt very confident Dr. Castoro knew what she was doing. After the testing I knew there was sounds I didn't hear during the test.
I was hoping they were sounds that only dogs and teenagers can hear!
Dr. Castoro explained that I did have hearing loss in both ears. She explained why I was experiencing tinnitus and what were possible treatments/solutions. Dr. Castoro was very patient and kind. I believe she sensed I wasn't thrilled being told that I had a mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears, despite my joking comments. After my hearing test with Dr. Castoro I waited to see Dr. Francesca Yao. The physician assistant
Richie was very nice and helpful. I had filled out all the new patient paperwork the night before and brought in completed hard copies. Unfortunately the person at the first desk hadn't scanned the completed forms into the computer systemt/patient information. Richie was going to have to ask me questions and put the information into the computer right then. Luckily, I made a copy of the completed forms for myself and
had the copies handy. I gave them to Richie but he still needed to ask me a few questions. Richie let Dr. Yao know why there was a delay. This was my only complaint - I had taken the time to complete all the new patient forms but I didn't send them electronically. My completed forms should have been scanned into their system. Despite seeing Dr. Yao almost an hour later than I should have - she spent a lot of time with me. There was a brief physical examination of my ears, nose and throat. Dr. Yao told me before the examination that afterwards she was going to go over the results of my hearing test with me. Dr. Yao believes we are not taking hearing seriously enough. She explained that hearing is about more than sounds. Hearing is how your brain gets information 24/7 - even when we are asleep our hearing is letting our brain know if the sounds it hears should wake us up. Hearing loss doesn't cause dementia but it plays a role because the nerves in our ears change with age and sometimes that effects the information transmitted to our brain. We should have our
hearing checked regularly. Hearing loss, like my own, happens gradually,
so we may not notice it. If I hadn't had this hissing sound in my head I wouldn't have had my hearing tested. I might have waited until my hearing loss worsened before I even went for a diagnosis. I know our sense of hearing is the last of our five senses to go as we are actively dying (whether from natural causes, a disease, an accident). Palliative care doctors, nurses, doulas will tell friends and family visiting someone who is dying to speak to that person because they can still hear. Hearing connects us to the world. Dr. Yao explained my hearing loss with great detail, answered my questions, told me possible causes other than age. Dr. Yao explained how stimuli like caffeine, red wine may exacerbate or diminish this sound in my head. At least I am confident I have dedicated doctors to explain and "treat" my hearing loss.

The office was very efficient. Waiting time was very minimal. I scheduled an appointment last minute with Dr. Yao. They were able to fit me in and Dr. Yao was very attentive and professional. I would definitely come in again.

I had a great experience meeting Dr Milo Vassallo yesterday, I have problems with breathing and Doctor Milo was very professional, he explained my situation clearly and patiently.
Testing was quite unexpected and painless.

If you have any allergy problems I really recommend Ent and allergy associates ask for Dr Milo Vassallo.

Over 1 hour wait. Was told to come in 20 mins early. Arrived about 45 mins early. It's currently 30 minutes after scheduled appointment. I hope this is the last time here.

Updated to 4 stars. Service good but wait is long

Great, skilled, and empathetic doctors here. I’ve seen Dr. Milo Vassallo, who is my Allergist, and Dr. Colen, who is now my ENT.

Dr. Vassallo helped me through allergy testing and built a game plan for allergy relief. I should have seen him sooner.

And, I recently had hearing loss due to ear wax build up, and Dr. Colen cleared both of my ear canals - efficiently and painlessly!

I’m very grateful to both physicians. Also, the front desk and office manager are nice and professional. Thank you all! I highly recommend this office for your allergy and/or ENT needs.
