Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Rochester NY

Editing my review as I appreciate that an upgrade vehicle was delivered and swapped out at no additional cost. The new vehicle looks to have been properly processed and cleaned this time. I don't feel like I need a shower after driving this one. Thank you for that.

Pretty disappointed overall and honestly a little angry. A vehicle was not available when it was supposed to be even though I scheduled a couple weeks in advance and I was left stranded at the collision shop because I was too far away from the Main Street location for them to pick me up, and because there were no vehicles for me to rent at the Henrietta location, they would not come out to pick me up either. "There's always Uber" is the suggestion I got. Thanks. I ended up taking my vehicle back home when it should been having repairs started. Whomever felt that the vehicle we were finally put in today was okay to release to a customer was very mistaken. This vehicle is freaking NASTY. The glass was so cloudy I had to clean it to see clearly. Streaks everywhere. Everything is sticky. Freaking gross. Gas door is broken. Scratches everywhere. Whatever was used to try and get the smoke smell out left an equally disgusting lingering odor that was bad enough for my short time in it to trigger a migraine and has pretty much shut me down for the day. I am not exaggerating that it was so bad that it permeated my clothes. I had to come home to change and shower to try and get away from that chlorine-ozone smell. I am not driving that vehicle even down the street to return it. Enterprise can come get it. I don't even care if they have another vehicle at this point. Outside of those issues, staff is friendly and cordial, so there's that I guess. Please come get your vehicle Enterprise.

Booked Friday. Came in Tuesday and had to leave without a rental. The only possible way to rent a car with out of state license is with a credit card and guess who doesn't have one and I was never told until I got there. Even though clearly stated on their wall says u can not be denied for not having a credit card. Thanks for a rough start to a honey moon!

Due to CA DMV delay in sending out licenses after I paid for renewal, I was prevented from renting a car, so my reservation was not honored even though I rent cars from them all the time.

Second time renting from this location. Their customer service is great and Tom who helped us was awesome!

Enterprise is ok kinda disappointed in the rental quality at the downtown location but the staff was efficient

The inside of the vehicle that I rented was dirty and smelled like smoke. Because I’m asthmatic I had to wear a mask whenever I was in the vehicle because the smell of the smoke is so strong.

Im still being held accountable for an accident that happened in 2014 the car was fully covered with extra insurance theft covered now there saying i owe $15,000 dollars for a car that was fully covered when i went to court and the judge wrote it off as paid in full and all o have to pay is the $69 dollars now there saying i can't rent no more cars but i no people who is in the same situation as me still rent from this place with no problem

My experience was very good except for the yellow tire pressure light that kept coming on and off.

The drive from Rochester New York to Shelby North Carolina was a joy.

The car served its purpose. I.was able to get to point A & B while my truck was in the shop.
My experience at the rental site was friendly and timely.
BUT The car was noisy under the hood. The seat had a cigarette burn on it and the dust on the dashboard was very visible and the odor in the interior was a mix of cigarette smoke and Lysol spray!
I dont smoke so it was "uiurrgghhh"!

The sale person name Kevin was very professional and made sure I had no question before I left. And the return was painless.

Great customer service car was ready to go and I didn't have all the extra stand in line paperwork frustrating experience.

My recent rental with Enterprise was in Rochester. I've never had any negative experience with them so far. I've rented both short time like for a day and long term for 10 days.
Staff had been professional, courteous and friendly.
Vehicles I used were always clean and in good shape.
So I have stuck with them for my rentals because I believe that if nothing is broken why fix it.

I’ve rented 2 cars within about a months time spand. The East Main location has the most delightful customer service representatives and they all are so knowledgeable. I’ve went to this location more than 4 times overall and each encounter was very welcoming and the cars! Yeah those are everything Prices and all, they are all welp kept and clean as ever! Thank you for such affordable prices and great memorable customer service

Entersprise car rental and the staff on East Main st in Rochester Ny is the Best the service was great and done in a timely manner. I’ll always rent from them when I need a rental car
