Gym Equinox Flatiron reviews
15I don’t have problem for flatiron location my problem is they charged me for the next month. But i did freeze for the next month. When i asked to refund they said billing continues while my account is on freeze so they will not be able to refund the most recent charge.i paid for which i don’t go anymore while i freezing. Doesn’t make sense! If you want your money to burn you can get membership from equinox!
So overcrowded. Terrible floor plan. None of the equipment placement makes sense, and not enough of it. Frustrating experience.
Weight machines on the ground level and lower level don’t have labels. Location has daylight but it’s fairly busy. Locker rooms and showers can be crowded. Juice bar closes early and staff is unfriendly. Other equinox locations do it better.
Equinox Flatiron, a temple of sweat and toil, an oasis in the heart of the city's madding crowds. Its walls a shrine to the pursuit of physical excellence, where one may shed the shackles of sedentary life and forge a body like tempered steel.
The air is thick with the scent of eucalyptus towels, a musk of salt and iron, as one is bathed in the radiant glow of the sun, shining in through the high windows of this holy place. The machines gleam like so many instruments of torture, but in truth they are the tools of transformation, where the flabbiness of the flesh is burned away, leaving nothing but muscle and sinew.
The trainers, too, are a breed apart, sages of the science of sweat, dispensing wisdom and encouragement with each set. They are the guardians of the sacred fire, urging one to push past their limits, to lift that extra rep, to run that extra mile. And in the end, one is left feeling not simply fitter, but finer, a better version of themselves, forged in the crucible of Equinox Flatiron, almost deserving of the Destination classification.
If one thing could be improved at this location, it’d be the steam rooms (a bit small).
Guy with glasses at the protein bar had such a bad attitude, he obviously hates his job. I'm not sure how he expects tip when he can barely great people
This is my favorite equinox club - not too crowded, very nice layout, nice steam room and mature and well-behaved crowd
One of the better non destination equinoxes. All the equipment you’ll need and good layout. Decent locker rooms. Nice and clean
Great atmosphere! There’s a lot of space for cardio, strength training, also a boxing studio.
Great gym been there as a guest with a friend I love it and love the vibes and amy is super professional welcoming and I’m not from nyc I hope next time I go she become the general manager of this place. She have a very good customer, service, skill and professional. She deserves to have a big position in the this gym.
I worked out here while in NY for work. The facilities are amazing (FYI there is a very large space on the top floor it took me two days to find haha). The manager (Julie F) was especially kind when i was checking in, and took the time to speak with me extensively about the club. Would recommend this club to anyone visiting or local to central Manhattan!
Very nice location. Very nice workers and welcoming! Thru have a great store with amazing options! Highly recommended
I got yelled at for getting a towel at 9: 30 pm. Not a great experience especially when considering how much the membership is.
One of my favorite Equinox locations. Locker rooms are nice but can get cramped (pre-covid). Great selection of group fitness classes and times.
My Favorite Equinox in the area. They are empty early in the morning, gets busy after 7/7: 30. There are 3 floors and a basement 2 with cardio machines, 3 with weights and weight/resistance machines.
