Erber Jonathan MD reviews
8Diabolical. Practice has devolved insanely. He was once my favorite Dr. I now suffer PTSD re how I've been treated, ABUSED by him and his staff! Such disconnect between what he says to you and what gets done. He denied and outright lies about conversations he's had as though he has outright altzheimers. Too much to get into. Like how I show up and am told the Dr isn't in this office on Tuesdays. But I say on Sunday he told me to come in on Tuesday.and I had said I hope the referral will be there by then. He said just come in. But they said he wasn't there so I went home.when I came back he sat me in the corner and stood in the hall. I felt discombobulated! I tried to reach him and he returned my call YELLING like a maniac, admitting that he HAD been there that Tuesday, but my referral wasn't there!? He wouldn't let me speak and defended himself and his staff and denied telling me to come in. More cookoo things keep happening and I'm signing medical release forms to leave the practice.
The staff here lovely at this office the doctor is horrible. He he so disrespectful the way he spoke to me was uncalled for. He told I had mental health issues on account I questioned his findings. He is a spoiled brat who only has this practice cause of his father. Never go to this non professional doctor.
I went to the doctor and I feel very good because the doctor is very friendly, I don't know English well but Two Bangladeshi girls work in the doctor's office They are very good explained everything to me thanks doctor
I am patient of dr. JONATHAN ERBER for a many years. I am doing colonoscopy in his office. Dr Erber is always asking me about my medical history, blood test results and answers all my questions. His office never charge any additional fees for colonoscopy even so before I paid additional fees for this procedure. I am very thankful to dr. Erber for everything he is doing for me and highly recommend his office to everybody who is willing to get perfect care
SUCH A HORRIBLE PLACE! ONE LADY IS SO ANNOYING AND RUDE.they made my father fast for 24 hours! YES 24 HOURS NO WATER OR DRINK, AND MADE US WAIT EXTRA 2 HOURS THERE JUST TO BE CALLED. I understand we reschedule the appointment many, many times but that was because of family emergency. THEY TREAT THERE CLIENTS WITH ZERO RESPECT NEVER GO THERE. WAST OF YOUR TIME, LITERALLY
I went to Dr. Jonathan Erber in part on the recommendation of my primary physician, in 2018, because I needed to consult with a gastro about my acid reflux condition and to get an upper endoscopy.
There were two main problems with this office. The first was that they didn't fully inform me how much the entire procedure would cost (including the lab results) and given that I was a cash patient back then, providing precise information in that regard was crucial to me. After signing all the paperwork and getting the procedure done, months later I get a collection notice (not even a bill) from the lab saying I owed some $300. I then had to communicate with the office about this for weeks, and they kept telling me that I basically agreed to pay that amount. I did not. After back and forth with the office and after Erber's intervention, they ended up agreeing that I did not have to pay it. Which should have been the outcome right away.
The second problem was the Dr himself. I paid $200 for the initial consultation visit, which was essentially useless and a waste of time and money. And then after getting an upper endoscopy done, he spoke to me for maybe 45 secs, to let me know that everything was OK. No details, no extended discussion of anything. Just told me keep taking my medicine and everything will be OK. I would think that after paying over $1 thousand for the consultation visit and the procedure, the service would be a little better, the doctor would show a little more care (esp considering I was a new patient) and would spend a little more time with the patient.
I have since changed my gastro and am happy with that decision. I would not recommend this office or this doctor.
Extremely disorganized. Rushed me off the phone and in person. Felt like I was getting a back alley colonoscopy the way they handled everything. Would never recommend to anyone!
