Dr Kreutzer recently did my surgery and I found him to be very nice and informative. He explained in detail what would be done, and asked if I had any questions. I felt very comfortable.

The NERVE of this man.if you google "Advanced Urology Centers of New York - Bronx" you can see REAL reviews for this doctor and his service. I cant imagine why he would hide his reputation with a different business listing. Below is my original review for this doctor written in the winter of 2019:

Not sure where the other reviews here are coming from.but I think it’s important that anyone looking for some insight about this doctor’s office before going here gets a chance to hear some real experiences about this practice.

Firstly, Dr. Kreutzer is an old school doctor and uses old school means of doctoring; You won’t find very high-tech equipment in this doctor’s office.there’s simply no way to justify that kind of investment here. He uses a laptop to keep track of his charts and if that old dell laptop from 1995 breaks down for any reason, you can rest assured that you will be waiting for about 2-3 hours past your appointment time before you get to see the doctor at all because he can’t get any work done if that thing isn’t running properly (maybe invest in a newer MacBook.but idk I’m no doctor).

Then after your extensive wait, you can be happy if the doctor actually sees you for more than 10-15 minutes before sending you off with no prescriptions, no suggestions, no actual understanding of your current state of health. But he will remind you to come back in a month or so.

Guess what though, even though it can be a slow process, it’s just better to wait for his laptop to boot up because the bigger problem is that Dr. Kreutzer could easily forget if you were ever his patient. I, unfortunately, underwent a surgical procedure by the wise man. When I was finally able to schedule a post-op follow up with him 5 weeks later, because his schedule is always packed (maybe because the laptop itself takes a good deal of time to get working properly?), the doctor had no recollection of who I was or why I was in his office in the first place. Now I don’t know about everyone else, but if my doctor is slicing my genitalia with a surgical knife, I sure would like to believe that he at least knows my name or face from anyone else’s before he gets to cutting me up. I can attest that this will not be the case with Dr. Kreutzer.he will forget you, and he will forget you very fast.

Lastly, the staff working in his office. Great big bunch of beautiful ladies. But please don’t walk into this office expecting some kind of compassionate service or attention. They will write your name down and call it out when the doctor tells them that the laptop is ready. You will be very disappointed if you expect more than your name being hollered out.

My last, and final visit to Dr. Kreutzer’s office was for an appointment scheduled for 11: 15 am. Now I don’t like to do an appointment in the middle of the day as I have a job and will have to make up for the hours I miss out, but I was nearing a three-week cut-off after my surgery for post-op visits and could not put the visit off any longer or I’d be at risk of paying $60+ for another phenomenal consultation. I arrived at the office at 11: 00am, by 1: 30 pm (yes only a short two and a half hours later) I was still waiting to see the doctor. At 1: 42 the doctor met me in his exam room. At 1: 47 I was walking out the door with no prescription, no real sense that the doctor knew what I should do next, nothing.it was legitimately a waste of my life. I had spent so much time at the doctor’s that heading to work afterwards was out of the picture. Don’t waste your life by visitng this doctor’s office.

Other than these small issues you will be so happy if you are forced to visit this office. If any of my experiences sound somewhat displeasing for you, then maybe look for another urologist nearby, although I get the feeling there’s not too many options. Anyways, I hope this review is actually helpful. Best of luck!
