Erie Basin Park reviews
9Peace and quiet.great place for fishing. I don't see lots of fish fished but great to chillax with a beer
A lovely park that hugs the waterfront, equipped with interestingly designed benches and sun lounges that are kept very clean. The quality of the public seating available makes this park stand out as a great place to read or work outdoors. It is also right next to IKEA where you can grab coffee, a bite to eat, and a plug socket if you need to charge stuff up again.
Very clean and quiet area, has nice signage about different parts of the boat. Love taking walks there and learning something new also
This is nice small park with a lot of waterfront views (unfortunately not very beautiful views). What I like specifically about this park that it was built with an attention to its docking past. Architects left intact two harbor cranes (one is on IKEA's parking lot), ship ropes and some other marine stuff. And if you have telephoto lens - sunset here can be not so bad here.
This is a nice park setup, and a sweet stretch for a walk/run. The water is not a beautiful sight but water is always calming, right? Just don't look so close at the filth inside.
Nice destination for a bike ride. Attractive place to rest before riding back. Lots of fresh air & sunshine.
Its an intersting park with left over cranes and barges that mark its history as a ship building past. Nice strolling area with a, great view of NYC harbor. It a joins Ikea. Park in the Ikea parking lot, shop and then stroll along tbe waterfront. Fyi it was built with funding from Ikea
Nice, out of the way park, behind Ikea. I wish the Ikea staff would clean the rocks on the waterline occasionally. Lots of trash washing up.
Nice place for a run. Pretty clean and small crowds with ikea next to it and there's plenty of parking
