European Wax Center, Plainview NY

Got a same day appointment which I loved, the check in process was seamless and Jenelle was super friendly. We talked the entire time I got my lower legs done and I barely felt anything. She made it such a great experience for me. Definitely recommend and im definitely coming back!

I should have written this review earlier but I guess it's never too late. I have seen a handful of specialists there and Ravi is absolutely amazing. I now only make appointments with her for waxing. Not only is she cheerful, friendly and professional.she is also excellent in what she does. I have not had any problems with bumps or in-growns with her. (I have with other waxers) She is gentle but efficient. She also gives good advice on after care and always makes time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Ravi in this establishment.

I started my waxing journey here 9 years ago & I used to see whoever was available, but as soon as I found Leanne there was no looking back. She has waxing mastered down to a science, that once I found her, I no longer suffered from irritation or ingrown hairs. For years now since I’ve moved to the city, I still travel to plainview from Manhattan to see her, not just because her skill set but also because she treats her clients like family. Everyone I’ve recommended to her still thanks me to this day and we bond over how funny & awesome Leanne is. If you’re shy & considering waxing for the first time but scared it may be awkward or uncomfortable, see Leanne- I promise you will leave laughing & feeling like you have a new best friend.

My 9 year old wanted to wax center eyebrows literally 5 hairs and they charged me full price $23. Told the manager that’s not right, stuck to it. Just terrible, at least charge me 1/2 price. Not nice! Should’ve told me before she waxed!

Amanda W is AMAZING! That was seriously the best wax I have ever had. Not only did she do an impeccable job but it was also the least painful wax I’ve ever had. She is also the sweetest person with amazing energy. If you are getting waxed - go to Amanda!

I’ve been waxing with EWC for the last 7 years and have been to multiple locations in other states as well as locally and this location is by far the BEST, I’ve ever been to. My go to waxer is Sofia K. Everyone here is very kind and the waxers are diligent but Sofia is definitely my preferred waxer. She is my main reason for always going back. I’ve referred everyone I know to her.

This was my first experience here @EWC.i was lil apprehensive & nervous. My specialist Brenda was a "doll". She took care of me, & put my fears aside for a Brazilian waxing, professional & courteous. The staff was pleasant. Very clean & use of protective ppe. I will return in the future.

They are very clean and are following all precautions necessary to make your visit safe. I go to Ravii and she is great. Talks to you the entire time to make you feel comfortable and you don't feel the pain as much.

Ravi is the best waxing professional at this facility! She waxed my arms quick & painlessly. She makes sure she doesn’t miss any spots and is always asking your comfort level during the wax. Very hygienic during COVID.
