European Wax Center, Hartsdale NY

My name is Charlene Austin and Sooo today I went to European wax center and this is my first time having this experience being I’ve always had no problem coming here I actually have worked here at this establishment and still continue to go even tho I’m no longer with the company. Today I had waxed Jena my appointment was for 2: 45pm I arrived at 2: 51 within my 9 minute grace period and soon as I walked in I was informed she was denying to take me! Which I know from experience and working there she cannot so if I’m in my 9 minutes I have been going there before I worked here during and after! That was SOOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL of her to do just because she knows me! I was so disappointed and honestly only booked her because I am going on vacation and couldn’t get Marinelly being she does not work weekends! I will hope that she is aware how she made me feel and someone let’s her know to never do such thing again because if I didn’t have anyone else to go to the business would have lost a customer for good at every location today! Since I’m here I wanted to let it be known the establishment itself is great! I recommend Aliceea at your guest checkout and Marinelly or Okika (I hope I’m spelling it correct) for services being they are GREAT!

Hello I am a very hairy man and EWC is my life, and I am very saddened to give this establishment two stars as it is closest to me, but they have this lazy and rude reception woman named Alicia that absolutely ruined my entire experience. Beware all who come here. Make sure to ask which receptionist it is, though I’m sure you’ll know who I am talking about.

I have to say I usually am not one to write a review but I felt compelled to since it was a great experience. It was actually my first time here so I was a little nervous at first, but from the second I walked in I instantly felt so comfortable and at ease. The whole staff was great! I worked with Jena, who was an absolute GEM! She was so professional and personable! She knew exactly what she was doing. She made it such a positive and relaxed experience! I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this location, ask for Jena!

Worst experience I ever had in my life. I’m 8 months pregnant and thought this should be a pleasant experience and treat for myself but was sadly disappointed. I booked an appointment for 10: 15am for my first ever Brazilian wax. As I’m driving I realize I was going to the wrong location (both locations are on central ave. But different cities). Anyways I give them a call at 10: 13am to let them know I’m running behind and will be no more then 10 min late. As I finally get to their parking lot the front desk lady calls me to tell me I would need to reschedule because they only have a 9 min window. I explain I’m already parking and it’s exactly 10: 25am. She put me on a brief hold then came back and said “sorry we’re going to have to reschedule”. This is the most unpleasant experience I have ever had. And I definitely will never return. You would think as a first time client they would cut you some slack and have a little more consideration even for emergencies. I’ve worked in plenty of medical and aesthetic officers and never would we deny a client or patient who’s already there.

So I usually go to a wax center by me and I wanted to try some where different. I went here and got assigned Alex. She is so sweet! So nice! She did amazing and was so professional. I just left the wax center and I’m so happy with the performance. The price is a little bit so much but since it was my first time I got it half off. Just can’t get over how amazing and sweet Alex was!

I agree with some of the previous reviews. Alex was very unprofessional and did not completely get the job done. I have an event coming up and my eyebrows are a disaster. Never coming back again.

I’ve been searching for a wax center for so long and I found the European Wax Center and decided to try it. It was the best decision I ever made. I am so happy and satisfied with their service and friendly welcome. I will definitely be going regularly from now on. Thank you to all the staff for being so amazing.

Love this place. I always get the packages because it saves money and gives me peace of mind knowing I have sessions already paid por in advance.

Excellent wax and customer service as usual. More expensive than most wax/barbers/salons but you pay for great products they use and the service you get.

The facility was clean and Elle my waxer was amazing and made the experience much more comfortable.

The worst European wax center of 3 that I have tried (Thousand Oaks and Manhattan 1st) I will drive 3 more miles to go to another one! I felt robbed today! Paid for a Brazilian that I never had.and when complaining the answer was: next time ask for a full!

I walked into EWC today not knowing what to expect but needed a wax, definitely without those painful strips! I was happy to hear they don't use them. The girl at the front desk was very friendly & quite informed on the packages and products. I had a wax by Elle & she is awesome! She's friendly, easy going & great at her job. She knew what she was doing so it made the experience better than expected and definitely not painful! I am definitely going back to her. Getting a wax from Elle is like getting one from your friend as you chat & laugh away. What could be better than that?

I went for the first time to get a Brazilian wax, and they were amazing! The person who took my call was a sweet heart! Danielle was my waxer, and she made me feel so comfortable, and made sure i was not in too much pain. I can't wait to go back in August!

Leslie was great very professional and made me feel completely comfortable.the whole staff was so friendly.great experience highly recommend.

This was my first time there and my first experience receiving a wax service and it was great! It was so good I booked my next appt as soon as I was done. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My appt was like clock work and all the fears I had were gone. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing everyone was friendly and the place was pristine. My eyebrows look amazing and it was quick. Definitely coming back again.
