Eva's x Cinco de Mayo, New York NY

The quesadillas here are quite good and usually provided with ample cheese (which is becoming less and less common in Manhattan.) We come here at least weekly for them. Tacos are entirely a "pass" as the tiny bits of meat are barely visible to the naked eye. The carrot cake is an oldie but goodie and is the most consistently delicious item on the menu. The "chile" is not really chile but instead an awful mash of beans.

The service here can be comical if one does not habla espanol. On our last visit we'd decided to give the hard shell tacos another try. We received all soft shell versions. When this mistake was pointed out to the cashier, she simply looked at us as if utterly dumbfounded. No apology, no correction, no cares whatsoever apparently.

It’s a COVID survivor: kudos to that. Don’t expect the greatest of atmospheres. Food taste delivers. Birria tacos along with a mini bowl of consomé was very tasty. 10/10. Green salsa was very good too. Try the non alcohol “Sangria” or the local made “Jamaica” and “Horchata” water.

Best mexican food in the area, me and my friends always go afterschool and we are never dissapointed. Amazing service and food, 10/10

We ordered tacos al pastor which were very good. Wife ordered fish tacos which were relatively tasteless. On the whole, the food was well prepared and good. Here, men order food and take it with them. As there are limited places and not very cozy.

I buy once a week here! The staff treats me like family and they're always 5+ stars on quality and taste- they also add in a bunch of freebies in exchange for a smile and light convo, my fave!

Ordered online on the website they have listed and when I went to go pick up the food they have no record of it even when showing the receipt and code. Would not order online here.

Great music! Everything tasted pretty authentic. Tried the Al Pastor tacos with pinto beans. The tacos were good and the beans were just decent. They serve these delicious little carrot muffins with all their orders it seems so that was a nice touch.

Went to this little spot for a late lunch. Had a quesadilla. It was wonderful. The flavor profile was authentic to its name, and the sides make the price worth it. This will be a regular go to I. The future. What's next? Tacos

Wowee! Love Evas X Cinco de Mayo! We wanted some Mexican food on a Saturday night and found a menu from Eva's in the pile - not sure where it came from. Called and ordered the old school way, by phone; the order was taken efficiently, packaged well and delivered quickly. The food was delicious and the flavors were great. We had the Birria tacos (awesome) and a chicken quesadilla. They even included mini carrot muffins. Prices are reasonable.
Great work Eva's! Will definitely be ordering from you again. Next time, I will try the Eva's app. I do wish they were open a little later on Saturday.

You can taste how fresh the ingredients are here. Everything is made with love and there is a lot of healthy food. Not too expensive:)

This is NY food I know and love and too many places like this are few and far between. Everything is made with love. Super Fresh a TON of options on their menu, something for everyone. It's super small to eat in. I always take out. Definitely worth checking out a few times. You'll be hooked

Awesome food, great portions and this place never disappoints. You have to try the protein muffins they are delicious. Chciken and Pork are great as well! That is all I tried so far. Thank you for helping me eat at work with affordable prices in midtown.
