Events at Stone Park, Brooklyn NY

My family and I had the best time hosting my sister-in-law's baby shower at Events at Stone Park this past fall. The staff was so easy to work with and were beyond accommodating when it came to customizing our event menu; not to mention went above and beyond to create special dishes for our guests with strict dietary restrictions. The space is beautiful, the food was amazing, and the entire staff was warm and attentive. I hope to host another event there in the future!

If you want a cool venue with a warm and welcoming staff, great service and fantastic food, I highly recommend Stone Park. I booked the place for a wedding reception/celebration for my son and his wife and every detail was meticulously taken care of. Barbara (the events manager) listened carefully to us and made all of our wedding wishes come true. The staff took care of everything and all we needed to do was party and enjoy the evening! I can't wait until I need to book another celebration, and I highly recommend Stone Park with no reservation!

My husband and I hosted a brunch at Events at Stone Park the morning after our recent wedding - It was the perfect spot to finish off an incredible weekend of wedding festivities! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was exceptional, and the set up was great for our guests dropping in throughout the morning! Barbara was very helpful and incredibly professional throughout the planning process. We love eating at Stone Park Cafe and were so glad we were able to host such a wonderful event for our friends and family visiting Brooklyn! We'd highly recommend this spot!

My husband and I had our wedding party here and it exceeded expectations! The team made planning seamless and easy. The day was tasteful (in more ways than one) and memorable for us.

Our family recently hosted a dinner party at Stone Park Cafe's Events space. As expected, it was fabulous. We have been strong supporters of Josh Foster and his staff since day one and have never been disappointed. Having successfully navigated the last two plus years is a real testament to the hard work and cohesiveness of all the staff. Their consistently high level of professionalism, excellent cuisine and well curated wine list is what they are known for. A few nights after our party, we had dinner in the restaurant and, once again, the meals were well prepared and beautiful and the service accommodating and professional.

I rarely post reviews. However, we recently hosted a post-wedding brunch at the Events space and it was so fabulous that I would like to share our experience.
First thing to note - it was also Mother's Day. Luckily, the Events space is completely separate from the adjacent Stone Cafe restaurant, so we had none of the craziness one often experiences on that most busy of dining out days.
The Events space is open and airy, with ample room for our 60 guests. (There is also a small outdoor space in back but because the weather was cold and overcast, we didn't use it. Still, the light streaming through added to the sense of spaciousness.) We chose to have a buffett, and it was set up opposite the bar, which was a very easy arrangement. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Brerton captained the event, Angela was a warm and very engaging bartender, and there were two others as well
- everyone was uniformly professional and helpful. They had each table group go up at a time for the buffett so there was never a long line. They also looked out for the older guests and for guests with special allergies. When one of the staff found out that a guest couldn't eat the main dessert (a berry cobbler), they arranged for a plate of ice cream from next door to be brought to the guest.

And the food! It was all so delicous! The beef hash well deserves the raves it has garnered online. Everything else was also perfectly prepared and beautifully presented (French toast, bacon, home made granola, salads, cheese platters, and more).

This was the perfect way to end our wedding weekend - we had very happy and satisfied wedding guests. I look forward to hosting future events at Stone Park.

We had my son’s rehearsal dinner here recently, and everyone raved about the quality of the food. You can image our stress levels doing this as Omicron was surging, but the staff was terrific and a great time was had by all! Highly recommended

My husband and I have been coming here for brunch for years. The food is amazing and by far the best brunch spot in Brooklyn. The short rib hash is a must. If Angela is behind the bar make sure to order an Irish coffee. She does not disappoint. We recently hosted our after wedding brunch in the event space and the amount of compliments we got from our guests about the food was unreal! Every person made a point to tell us how much they enjoyed the food. The staff at the event were super helpful and accommodating. The operations team through out the planning process made sure everything went smoothly and stress free.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday with a party for about 30 people at Events at Stone Park, and it could not have been better. Josh and Barbara made the planning and execution a pleasure, the food was excellent and service was wonderful. Most important was the sense from everyone involved that they really cared about the quality of the event and all the little details that insured its success. Many thanks for making a special day even more special.

The entire night was amazing and fun! Thank you so much for making our private party so lovely and wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful. The drinks flowed perfectly - and the bubbly greeting for each guest was a fabulous mood setter! The guests of honor felt spoiled and celebrated by friends and family, and also by all of you. Your event space is so pretty and elegant, and also comfortable. Events at Stone Park exceeded all expectations! Thank you so much!

We celebrated both my mom's retirement and my best friend's bridal shower at Stone Park. Both events were amazing! The food is so delicious. Everyone was commenting on it as we left the parties. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to everyone's needs throughout the party, and the space itself is just stunning - intimate enough for small gatherings, but also spacious enough for people to mingle. I would highly recommend them for your next event!

On Saturday afternoon we held a buffet luncheon at Stone Park to celebrate a significant milestone birthday. We choose this venue because it was in Park Slope and while we had never been to an event there, over the years we certainly had dined in the restaurant So why a five star review - because there wasn't space to put in ten stars!

The space itself is beautiful, bright and homey and while affiliated with the Stone Park Cafe is physically separate. The food choices and preparation were excellent (fully expected this) but what really made a huge difference was how responsive and cooperative everyone who dealt with us was - from the owner to those that serviced our party! My feed back to the owner was that everything we needed was anticipated before we had to ask for or it or look for help. The promise to leave you free to enjoy your guests and party is a promise they keep. Somehow they all knew exactly what to do and did it without me asking. I felt like they were magic elves who managed to do their job without you ever seeing them!

We had 39 guests in the space, some of whom had food issues. The staff clarified their needs directly with them without me having to be in the middle. The space accommodates 60 or so people so we were more than comfortable. I literally spent one hour with the owner and the event person two weeks before the party to plan the event, review our objectives, issues, and to decide on the menu and that was it. AND I can comfortably say there was no issues on the day at all or anything I would have done differently. It was totally a hassle free, well received experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We just had our Holiday party and it could not have been better! It was intimate, festive and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding and the pricing was perfectly reasonable. Menu choices were varied, creative and diverse. Octopus appetizers on special order! The attention to detail was remarkable. We cannot recommend a better place!

Events at Stone Park was a hit for two of our previous office holiday parties, this year and 2017. The food is fantastic, the service is friendly and professional, and the pricing is very reasonable. We are a small group of about 30 and the staff made us feel welcomed and the space was perfect.

We didn't have any issues with our various dietary needs, which can be tricky for an event planner. Everyone LOVED the food, and they even accommodated us with yummy small bites for our afterparty.

In November 2019 we had a 50th birthday party for our daughter in the event space at Stone Park The party was a great success and we could not have been happier with our overall experience at Stone Park. From the first steps of planning, through the site visit with Barbara and Josh, and their very thoughtful last minute attention to details, all of the pre-planning was flawless. On the night of the party the Stone Park staff, up and down the line, were very attentive and helpful. They were, to a person, a pleasure to work with. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The bar was fully stocked and the pre-party wine suggestions by Stone Park were excellent.

The birthday woman said: “It was simply the best party ever. ” Stone Park helped make that happen.

Events at Stone Park is surely the best small wedding venue in Brooklyn. They were the venue for my son’s wedding in November. What sets Stone Park apart from other venues is the personal interest that the owner (Josh) and the event coordinator (Barbara) take in the event. They were extremely helpful in providing ideas for every aspect of the event, and worked closely with the bride and groom who were out of the country for most of the time leading up to the wedding. They were helpful with suggestions for florists and photographers (very helpful since bride and groom were out of town), food and all details of the wedding.many of the venues that we looked at would show you the room and leave you on your own to plan the rest! Here there was a willingness to share expertise while leaving it to you so set the tone you wanted. Did I mention the food? The food was wonderful, and we received many, many compliments about the food. The venue itself is warm and inviting - lots of woods and exposed brick. And it is really two interconnected spaces which adds a lot of flexibility. I can not recommend Events at Stone Park highly enough. You will not be disappointed!

My office holiday party was held at Stone Park this past December. We had about 60 people. The space was perfect for this size. I worked closely with Barbara Buenz who was very responsive and flexible to our needs. We had 1 kosher meal we needed delivered and they were open to us having an outside restaurant deliver it; they were accommodating to those with dietary restrictions and they made suggestions. We were able to bring in our own centerpieces for the tables, had a sign outside the restaurant to guide guests to the correct location, and they were able to provide music of our choice for our event. Saving the best for last, the food was fantastic and displayed nicely. We had some speeches during the event and Stone Park was very patient in waiting for us to finish before serving the food. We had the buffet style which worked out really nice. It gave folks the option to try different food options. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend Stone Park for your event and would return in a heart beat!

We threw my sister a baby shower at Events at Stone Park and it was great! The food was fantastic, all the staff were really wonderful, and I love the way the space is laid out. It's really such a cool, special venue!
