Evergreen Health reviews
21My name is Angela lacorte. I have been a patient at primary care for some years now. I have never in my life been treated with so much care and concern from first Megan mogavero and the nurses and staff. I feel like I’m walking in and seeing my family. Everyone is so friendly and caring and they all greet me by name and then the nurses are just so understanding and care about me. Then Megan walks in and my whole world is better. She takes so much time for me to understand and advises me and. She is an awesome person as well as a nurse practitioner. I love going there and being treated like my life and my health matters. Thank you so much
Evergreen Health is an amazing place to go when you need help. Im an addict with almost 2 yrs clean, thanks to the doctor's, nurses and my counselor. The staff is friendly and outgoing. Couldn't be more pleased.
I have been a primary care patient here for more than a year and am very pleased with their bedside manner and overall service.
I am both a primary care patient and a staff member at Evergreen. I can say with complete honesty that I have never received better primary care anywhere else. They are inclusive and everyone is friendly. I love supporting an organization that helps so many people who are in need.
Love the primary care clinic and I overall love the services they offer and the food pantry is awesome. Primary care providers are excellent and very knowledgeable and caring. I wouldn't trade evergreen for any other pcp.
I go here for STD testing the staff is super friendly and helpful so caring and welcoming thank you so much you gave me so much peace of mind and make me very happy to come in.
I've been a client of the medical clinic for 12 years, and the pharmacy for about 3: the clinic staff is superb, and the pharmacy does their best (meaning they occasionally are a bit off). Dr. G.is absolutely marvelous, and the new facility considerably raises the bar for similar medical practices in the area!
Case management - in my experience - is TOTALLY INEPT. I turned out to be a far better case manager for myself, once I empowered myself to be, and spent considerable time and travel obtaining knowledge and resources elsewhere. I gave them the boot, saving myself copious amounts of stress and frustration.
Friendly staff clean environment very helpful for my transition lots of people I can depend on thanks
Super caring staff, from front desk to nurses, to the nurse practitioners. Listened! It’s a low bar in healthcare but that counts for a lot.
The pharmacy was much better when Tom worked at the front desk. Now it's this new lady and she's kind of rude/oblivious. Much slower waiting times for meds. Other than that, the rest of the staff are wonderful! Love the place too, nicest outpatient in Buffalo, definitely.
Truly the best health services. People really care about your medical conditions and keep following to make sure everything is smooth. All the services provided are amazing. Best experience!
How often do you take the time to write a great experience for health related services? The staff here is Amazing and helpful beyond anything I have encountered. Friendly, knowledgeable beyond words and easy to talk too! From the start I was made welcome and the process was so good that they earned my business as my primary care facility going forward. Highly recommended!
Not uplifting or positive in any way leave counseling feeling worse do not recommend this place
I have been helped by evergreen for over a month i think showing the great trans care, I feel better knowing I can be safe with respectful staff thank you so much to everyone at Evergreen - Tay
I wanted to become a patient and I desperately wanted mental health care. I reached out to Evergreen because I was struggling and needed help. Not once in my multiple attempts to contact them was a call answered or a message returned. What if there are others out there like me? I was lucky enough in doctor roulette to find at least a primary care physician who is LGBT friendly after I gave up on this place.
What about people whose only option is Evergreen? What happens then?
My fiance is a patient and can never get them on the phone too. They frequently drop the ball on medications, either not refilling, or not responding to requests for refills. Now, because they have not responded to her in several days, she will have to under-dose and hope that the sudden change does not cause drastic side effects. She will mostly likely run out altogether and feel sick, because that's how it goes at Evergreen. Maybe she'll be lucky this time and it will be taken care of before the weekend, but most likely not.
It is truly heartbreaking to see her go through this vicious cycle time and time again. She has more faith in Evergreen than I do, as I have not yet convinced her to find other doctors. I can't imagine what other patients go through.
Please, Evergreen. Do something about this. The people of Buffalo need you, and they deserve better.
I can't say enough about this place and the amazing people that work there. I know they can be overwhelmed at times but they have literally saved my life. And the pharmacy folks are some of the best people in the world.
Past 3 visits in 2015 took 1.5hr -2.2hr. They are expanding so hopfully wait times will decrees. UPDATE! Dec 17.visits are around 1-1.3 hrs, new building with more rooms for patients but seams still a a shortage of doctors and nurses. Wanted to look into insurance and was told to come in and see my options and they said the lady left early for the day.this was during open enrollment period. Tons of money gets donated to this organization for the LGBTQ community. Great to have some services available.
Over all good place but when it comes to refilling your meds its a nightmare. Always call rite aid 1 week before i run out to give them time to order the meds but every month i come there a few days later and they told me they havent heard back from the doctor. Getting a little po about this.
Thanks to Rite-Aid Pharmacy.
Evergreen service is worst ever.
Doctor send prescription for my mom a week ago. 3 days I wait, I never got a call nor they deliver. After 3 days when I went to Evergreen (206 S Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY). They said,
"Your mom has no insurance, Oh NO, she has something like medicaid or something other medicaid, OK, we will call her PCP office.and find out her insurance information and deliver to your home. "
Then I went to my work. It was 5: 00. I didn't get any call or deliver.
Next day I went to evergreen again, with my mom's insurance card.they keep my card and said we are calling insurance. I was in rush to go to my work, I said, call me and let me know what you did, and please try your best to deliver it to my home today. And it was 6: 00. They didn't do anything.
Then I went to my mom's PCP and tell her the situation, then I requested her to remove those medicine from evergreen and send those to Rite-aid.
Then doctor send only the important one to Rite-Aid, And few minutes ago I received it from Rite-Aid and they didn't ask about my mom's insurance.they said insurance is OK.
Thanks to Rite-Aid
I haven't had a doctors office be this great in10 years. I am thoroughly happy with my doctor, and am more than satisfied with the level of service I am given. I always recommend this place to family and friends.
