Evergreen Uptown, Pomona NY

New store and they are still getting their act together here. Prices are pricey, specials are good deals.

Wow is not enough said, I had lunch at evergreen, the food was delicious and the service was amazing, which is what the word EVERGREEN stands for! You guys rock. KEEP IT UP! BTW, the Basic pizza was amazing.also, when visiting evergreen, look for yoiel and say hi for me!

Beautiful and spacious. Nice wide aisles and such a huge selection of everything kosher. A mall within a mall of all kinds of ready food. Right off the palisade parkway exit.

We had a great experience shopping there.good prices. The deli has delicious food fresh and hot they even have a sitting area

Fantastic store, great bakery, nice cold cuts and sushi stand, very much like it and come here all the time.

For the new store to open up. As I new resident in the pomona Wesley neighborhood, After visiting the new beautiful designed store i realize that the prices r up normally higher from your other stores. I think you have to drop your prices at least 12 %. Remember pomona resident's 90% Not rich people. So if you wonder why you don't have the customers and neighbors, This is the answer

Very nice and fresh. They definitely put in the effort to make sure that the customer receives the ultimate shopping experience. Probably one of the nicest groceries I’ve ever been to.

You cant beat this places selection, prices, quality, bakery and produce are both top quality, the staff are all kind and knowledgeable, meats are great quality as well, a real gem this place. They also offer quality reusable plastic & boxes, even tape the boxes shut. Prepared foods is the same situation, cant say enough good things about this place. Thank you for such a wonderful shopping experience!

Great store, very friendly and helpful staff. The bakery in particular is very fresh and great. Prices are in line with other local kosher stores.

A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Evergreen does it again, dropping another magnificent, well-priced, and spacious kosher superstore, in a very convenient place for those who live in the area (like most places are), who would have had to travel many hours by foot to reach the other Evergreen.

An Amazing Addition to the "North" Monsey Rockland Shopping Scene. Evergreen Uptown is a large and beautiful new supermarket.
They have Dairy and Meat Takeouts, with seating inside the store. Sushi, fish, floral, bakery, meat, departments. Wide aisles, regular and self checkout options. Clean and neat!

I've been going here since 1978. The stores are relatively good but the anchor supermarket is closed. The stores are transitioning to serve the new local market. Pacesetter has been updated in the mid 80s when the PO left and continues to reinvent itself. Missing a main bar and grill type place when the gym opened. Eyemagination, Avanti, Pomona oriental (formerly Wesley oriental), and the Chinese food shop by the dollar store are all 25+ year Tennant's.

Maybe when a new anchor store goes in I'll revaluate and update this rating.
