9As far as I can tell this is the same as the Clifton Park Rest Area, so see my review under that.
I travel a lot, so I have seen quite a few Rest Stops. This one is not only perfectly clean, but also the prettiest I've ever been to.
Clean bathrooms went we went and its very presentable. Only have vending machines and no other food.
This (and the next one north) is a great rest area. They're clean, well lit, have a nicely set up snack area and plenty of parking as well as lots of local info.
Restrooms are clean, information for activities and sites local and north of the stop. Also a State Police station.
I'm sorry to be blunt but it's really nice to have a good place to go to the bathroom when traveling north of Albany NY. The service area is always clean and open also very convenient with an easy off easy on. Being right on the Northway. The State needs more of these.
Clean restrooms, working vending machines. No shops and unattended information desk on weekend this time of year
Rest rooms, nice views, pamphlets, tourist mags and bifold leaflets, soda and candy machines, State Police barracks, just sit in my car and eat and drink my soda.
This is, without a doubt, my new favorite rest stop. As put so beautifully by their pamphlet, "facilities are clean, safe, and ample. " I was able to purchase a pack of Reese's Pieces for only one dollar!
Truly a destination unto itself. A must-stop.
