I have yet to have any luck with an employment agency, and Express Employment professionals is no better. In fact, of the 3 times in my working career I tried turning to an employment agency, Express might be the worst of the 3. Sure, you get the pointless interview early on, but after that.nothing. Not ONE opportunity, and no follow up, and no communication.

Your experience may vary, but my suggestion is: if you're looking for a job, apply on your own, everywhere, and often. Employment agencies are a waste of time.

I was referred to Juan Alvarez at Express Employment Professionals by a fellow friend. Juan helped me get out of a horrible working condition and found me a position in a construction firm. Although, I was weary about leaving a permanent job to take a temp to perm, I decided to take a chance. Six months later, I am still at the job he referred me to. If you are seriously looking for a change in environment or just need a job, Juan is the best to work with. He will not send you on useless job interviews if he knows your interest.
