Expressive Beginnings Child Care, Rochester NY

We have been to two other daycare centers on the West side of town, and Expressive Beginnings completely blows them out of the water. My son is in a toddler classroom, and he loves it. The teachers and staff are so caring, loving, and we have complete confidence and trust in them. They catch the details that no one else caught in other daycares. We just pulled our daughter out. If your child doesn’t nap or if you don’t drop them off until 11/12 do not expect them to be learning or doing activities for the next 3 hours! They force them to lay in a cot for a 3 hour nap time! For $75 a day I expect my kid to be taught and entertained. New teacher everyday and the only one that’s consistent speaks very little English. My child has an accident every time she’s there, but never at home. Absolutely do not recommend.

First thing first I’m start off saying the staff In all the infant room are GREAT! Classroom one and classroom 8 and classroom 2 they are wonderful wonderful staff! Great with the babies so I’ve just started working there about a week ago all I’m say is they definitely need a better hiring manager so she didn’t like I can feel when someone doesn’t like me or care for me that much only because I’ve been in childcare for almost 12 to 18 years n I probably would run her job better then her she told me one thing in the interview and when I got hired I was all over the place like any other center so I told her how I felt and wish she would of told me up front what was my roll was! She kept saying this is not gonna work made me feel uncomfortable like why hire me if you thinking negative long store short I love amber and Kelly sweet sweet woman but I stop working there only because of Andrea! I went to the bathroom yesterday she didn’t even speak to me I’m still reaching out about her head boss Lmaoo because she definitely had it out for me but I kept it cute still smiled n said good morning but the center n the all the baby room stuffs are wonderful? But Ms Andrea we will meet again!

Exressive beginnings is keeping my girls busy this summer. Taking them on field trips, that I don't have the opportunity to do this summer. They look forward to swimming every week, and going to parks. They love their teachers!

I enrolled my son here 4 months ago, I wish I had done this sooner. He was attending a “chain” daycare that had no real interest in looking after my son.
All of the teachers here together with the director and assistant director are amazing and focused on what’s best for my son.
Miss Jas, Miss Katrina and Miss T are supportive and very nurturing, they are truly assets to this school.

My daughter has been at Expressive Beginnings since just after they opened. We've always felt that she received the highest quality of care. The teachers have been excellent and I feel she is very prepared for kindergarten. The facility is excellent and always clean.

My daughter has been going here for a year and a half and i love the director co director and the teachers my daughter has had so far! The accountant is even understanding! Theyre a very understanding place during tough times & They love my daughter so much!

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this place. Let me start by first saying I think my son's teacher was amazing, however the people who run this place, are terrible and have no idea what they are doing.
At the very beginning of my son starting here, the evening staff was awful. My mother picked my son up from daycare while I was at work, couldn't get the staff to acknowledge her or my son because they were too busy talking about their personal life and partying to even look up. My mother asked where his coat was and finally this girl said "I dont know look in there" and gestured to a room. They get home my Son's pamper was so full of poop and pee, that it was exploding.and breaking. My poor son had that on him. When I called to complain, and was going to pull him out of that daycare then, they simply said "OH SORRY IT WAS THE GIRLS LAST WEEK OF WORK, so she must not have cared about doing her job anymore. " first off that is not acceptable in anyway.
That wasn't his normal teacher, the day time teacher is amazing.
Now, after my son hasn't even been there in MONTHS, he started else where in the summer, they send me a letter saying I owe them money, for time he wasn't even there. And I even have proof of it, and conveniently no one can explain what this is even from.
I have worked in the day care industry, and trust me, I know what the rules, laws and expectations are. And this place, I have no idea how they are even allowed to run after the things I have witnessed and dealt with.
If I could post pictures of his diaper, and the state my son was left in, trust me, I WOULD.
