I have been going there for about 10;years.i went For a general eye exam and found that I had glaucoma. Doctor Rothstein, saved my eyes.

Most professional, thorough, and courteous doctor’s office I have ever been to.
They are the very best!

I seldom give reviews but in this case I absolutely must. Today, I met Dr Shelby and Dr. Robert for the first time having been referred to them. I travelled from Trinidad and Tobago just to have my eyes examined by Dr. Robert and I was absolutely pleased. I saw Dr. Shelby first. She was very kind, comforting and knowledgeable about the issue I was currently facing. She did a fantastic job at putting my fears to rest. Quite professional yet down to earth in her interactions.
Dr. Robert then added his expertise to further reduce my stress level as well as charter the way forward so I can ultimately have my problem resolved.

Dr. Rothstein and his team effectively communicated my diagnosis and treatment options, ensuring I had a comprehensive understanding of the pros and cons of each approach and the importance of following the treatment plan. Their practice demonstrated a commitment to serving and respecting the community regardless of individual background, age, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. The staff was welcoming and courteous to every patient they encountered. The team maintained a spotlessly clean office environment, with the lingering scent of disinfectant in the post-COVID era providing a reassuring sense of hygiene. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Rothstein's practice for its exceptional patient care and commitment to inclusivity.

Staff were all nice and helpful. Dr Shelby see me first and did her evaluation and diagnostic procedures and met Dr Rothstein later on. Both were friendly and attentive to what’s going on with my eyesight. I have to go back in 3 weeks for follow up. I rated them 5 stars but I have to mention waiting for me is too long for my condition. We arrived before 2: 30 pm and was called at 3: 19 pm for eye pressure check up and other procedures. After seen by Dr Rothstein, we left the office after 5: 30 pm I think it was. Weather that day was brutal and we didn’t get home till after 6: 45 pm due to bad weather and waited long for Uber ride outside the office. First Uber cancelled because he couldn’t wait for me pushing my rollator to pick up point. So we waited for the next Uber outside with the cold wind blowing on us. I am only relating my bad experience on that day after my office visit at Eyenamics. It doesn’t affect the doctors and staff. They were all patient and kind. It’s only the wait time that is my concern which is difficult for a senior of 83 year old with a condition.

Dr. Rothstein is excellent! He is knowledgeable and incredibly understanding. The office staff were caring and helpful!

My mother was referred to Dr. Robert Rothstein in early December of 2023 by Dr. Allen J. Fishman as a second opinion regarding blurriness in one of her eyes due to Glaucoma. He and his colleague Kim Staiman Rothstein have been working diligently for several weeks to determine the best course of action to improve the situation without having to perform surgery.

With a battery of blood work, repeated visual tests and carefully prescribed medication, they’ve been able to offer gradual improvement thus bringing her some relief… which makes me very happy! As we continue to move forward I am confident that a positive outcome will be achieved. The doctors at Eyenamics NY are very knowledgeable, focused and professional with a staff that mirrors the same level of focus in their roles as well.

So, I say kudos to Eyenamics NY and look forward to my mom’s continued improvement (Godspeed) moving forward!

The staff at Eyenamics is really wonderful. I have been a patient for about 10 years now; and, the level of care and professionalism has always been top notch.

I have been going here regularly for almost a year now. Staff members are wonderful; they are respectful and competent, and effectively communicate what they are doing during each step of the process. Dr. Rothstein is professional, thorough, and highly knowledgeable. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand, considers different options, and he always takes the time necessary to respond to my questions and concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr Rothstein for over 10 years. I have been very satisfied with the care that Dr Rothstein and his team have given me.

Thought this was a good eye office until they charge you if you cancel an appointment whether u have an excuse anything can come up on the day of the appointment they lost a patient once he gets his results we will not be returning so if anybody cancel you will be charge a fee

My husband has Glaucoma, is partially blind and had developed alarmingly high pressure in his right eye. Dr. Rothstein jumped in and performed emergency surgery that same week and saved my husband's eyesight. His vision is improving day by day thanks to Dr. Rothstein. He along with Dr. Staiman are caring highly professional and provide quality care to their patients. The staff is very caring and professional as well.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Rothstein now for more than four years. He is very detailed in his treatment of eye health. He pays close attention and monitors the eye pressure making sure it remains low and performs the various test routinely so that my husband maintains his eyesight. My husband and I are so grateful for Dr. Rothstein, Dr. Staiman and Dr. Kruise and the care they place on his eye health. As a bonus the staff is very pleasant and caring.

I'm not one to make comments online but I must say that Dr. Rothstein is a wonderful eye specialist. Thanks to him he has saved my vision not once but twice. When my eye pressure was very high, he took immediate action right away and did an emergency surgery. I am very grateful to him. When I was anxious, he reassured me everything will be fine and made me feel comfortable. Now I am doing alot better. He is a very kind and caring doctor. I also want to say that Dr. Staiman and Dr kruse are wonderful doctors also, they took good care of me. I'm very thankful for such caring doctors. After seeking several medical opinions, I was recommended to Dr. Rothstein. Before requesting an appointment, I decided to do some research, and based on all the reviews, I realized this was the doctor I was looking for. Not only Dr. Rothstein but all his team, especially Dr. Kruse, are so genuinely caring, patient, and very professional; they explain every single concern you have, which makes you feel comfortable and secure that you are being well treated. I recalled that in my first appointment, I told Dr. Rothstein that I came with a lot of hope that he would cure me, and he said: “No worries, we will take care of you”. Truly, that is exactly what they have done. When I came to my first visit, my eyes were so swollen, teary, dried, bulging, and with light sensitivity. After several tests, they diagnosed me with TED (Thyroid Eye Disease), and after discussing my options, I agreed to do Tepezza. Today my life is back, there are still some minor things that will improve over time, but I cannot express how happy I feel to be able to move around so comfortably. Thank you once again to the Eyenamics team!

I am not one to leave reviews online about any establishment that I have gone to but this review was a long time overdue as this doctors office as well as the doctors that I've worked with changed my life and I am very grateful to them. Dr. Robert Rothstein is an amazing doctor. Last year around this time I woke up to double vision, unaware of what was going on with me. I rushed to the hospital Mount Sinai, which wasn't much help in diagnosing me. They stated that they will find a doctor that can do some test for what they thought could be wrong, But unfortunately, no one ever got back to me. Being the person that I am I was not going to give up so advocated for myself and searched for a doctor. Lucky for me. I came across a Eyenamics, which I do not regret till this day! Dr. Robert Rothstein wasn't only sympathetic and understanding, but he was also concerned as he is to this day, he was very patient and explained everything to me of what he suspected was wrong. After being sent to get a specialize test (EMG, single fiber test) we were able to come to the conclusion that I have Ocular Myasthenia Gravis Dr. Robert Rothstein was able to put me on a treatment plan that changed my life, with his patience and caring nature, he was able to help me restore my vision. I can not thank him enough. As a single mother, who also works full time and attends school one can only imagine how important my vision is to me. And with the help of Dr. Rothstein what once was a very scary and depressing time in my life turned into a blessing that I am so very thankful for. I also had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Kim Staiman Rothstein and Dr. Shelby Kruse whom work with Dr Rothstein and they have been nothing short of amazing. Each doctor is very caring they ask how you are doing and the mean how are you doing which is very comforting. They explain everything they answer all questions that I have ever asked, and they are very understanding. I have never felt rushed nor have I felt as though medication's were being pushed on me. Every visit I've experienced concern from all three of these doctors. I have always felt heard and cared for every visit. A lot of times doctors do not get the recognition that they deserve for the treatment that they provide. I often see bad reviews that patients leave whether it be about the doctor or the establishment. Honestly, if I can give more than five stars to Eyenamics I would. The staff is amazing and everyone is nice. The office is very clean and very pleasant I love the fact that every time I do visit, I am not sitting in the waiting room for long periods of time, and I am seen within minutes of walking into the office. These days it's very hard to find decent people that really care let alone doctors. They really are concerned and care about their patients. If you have any issues with your eyes, please give them a call. You will not regret it as I don't to this day, I am very grateful for for this team of doctors as well as their staff. Wait times are too long. Dr I was seen by today was rude and she did not introduce herself. If they are over booking they need to stop, some of us don’t have all day to wait to be seen by a Doctor.

This Doctor has been following me for 4 years. I admit that my eye problems have diminished thanks to these pointed analises. Thank you very much Doctor.
