Im surprised by the high reviews of this place. Really does feel like the place where they push you to buy frames there.

I felt like I had to continually ask for my prescription and it wasn’t even signed by the doctor.

The doctor answered all my questions but I don’t feel like my eyes were checked accurately as I compared it to my old prescription and the difference is quite large…

Wouldn’t come back here again.

Great professional eye care. Dr. Chan is so helpful and knowledgeable. The young woman who assisted me with frames is courteous and friendly. Always a great experience to visit.

Dr. Chan is such a nice Doctor! Extremely knowledgeable and professional with a caring personality. The staff are kind and helpful.

My mom has gone to many different doctors and was never happy. She hated going to a point she stopped. We recently moved to Brooklyn and I needed a specialist because she was blind in one eye for a moment. I called very friendly over the phone. She didn’t want to go but I convinced her. What a beautiful experience we both had. Dr. Chan and the staff are so sweet and patient. Dr. Chan did exams that were never done on my mom! We found out she had nerve damage and an eye stroke! No one every said that… so impressive. We left and mom couldn’t stop talking about how handsome Dr. Chan is LoL! But overall how comfortable they made her feel! We are so happy we moved to Brooklyn! He is definitely our Doc from now on!

Disappointed. I supposed to get my glasses within 2 weeks but they never contacted me. So i call them back asking for the progress of my glasses. Then they found out that the frame i chose was out of stock and tell me to go in to choose another one again if not i need to wait for months. Kind of disappointed as I planned on leaving the town after getting the glasses which rn all the plans are messed up.

I like this place because its clean and quick with that said I came in for an appointment for me and my son. I've been there before so they didnt need my insurance information. I didnt have my insurance card for my 8 year old because a new one was being mailed to me and because of this my insurance company gave me his member ID and stuff so if we went to the doctor I can give it to them and I wouldnt have any issues (or so I was told). I let them know this and apparently they couldn't see him because i didnt have the physical card because it's a form of ID for him because hes a minor. I was confused because I'm his mother and I have his insurance info and I'm IDing him myself so what more do you need from the card? We were at the dentist down the block and i gave them his member ID and they told me they can see his info and just bring it next time so they can make copies. Why give me a hard time? I felt like I wasted a trip.

I made an appointment, provided my insurance card, my benefits were checked and I was good to go but when I came for the appointment itself I was told that I have to pay for the exam and they don’t recall what they told me before. Waste of time.

This is not my first visit to see Dr. Jack Chan. Doctor performed thorough exam and provided detailed explanation about all steps and about all the results that followed. I scheduled my first appointment a few years ago and it was easy to do. My second visit I was taken in almost immediately even though it was a walk-in instead of scheduled one. Very friendly and courteous staff. There is a very good selection of eye-wear in the store.
I liked my overall experience very much. So much so, that Dr. Jack Chan is now our family ophthalmologist.

Ugh what a waste of time! They sent multiple emails reminding to use my insurance before the end of the year, so I went to do just a yearly check up. Ended up paying for the visit as they failed to check my policy. Also, they don’t treat you well if you don’t plan to buy a new pair of glasses after the visit. Just another “pushy” store with a doctor.

Dr. Chan is a kind & knowledgeable physician-I appreciate the time Dr. Chan gives each patient. Polite & courteous staff, there was a hiccup over the DMV receiving my vision test results, however I contacted Eyevista Opt. & Dr. Chan returned the call asap. This meant a lot to me as a client that he did not hide behind his staff- but called me directly & made things right. Yes prices can be a bit more than some of the larger stores. America is built on the mom & pop stores- give them a chance & the personal attention & customer service you never get at the larger competitors. I will definitely return to Eyevista!
