Factory Tamal reviews
14 There is not much to this little hole in the wall except great service and awesome food.
Cone for the tamales but stay for the tinga torta!
If you are a breakfast person, I would argue there isn’t a better breakfast sandwich in town.
Let me say this…there isn’t a reason not to come and try something. You won’t be disappointed
This place is the best. I'm so sad to see that they closed their other location. I feel like it really flies under the radar. Their breakfast sandwich is almost like a nod to the burger king breakfast sandwich but with much better ingredients.
All of the tamales are amazing. And the Pinche Tinga Soup is so deep in flavor and heat that no cold or flu stands a chance in it's path.
Glad I got to come here. The tamales and torts were perfect. I had a Tinga Torta and it was flavorful. Filled with jalapeños and sauce on the chicken that makes you smile with every bite. The tamales are moist and full of meat. They are so delicious and I would recommend anyone who wants a handmade tamale to come here.
I used to live down the street and I miss this place every day now that I don’t. The tamales are amazing, staff is amazing, soup and sandwiches are amazing too. No cap.
Ok maybe it was my fault for not getting tamales but the sandwich I got was just Ok for the price. Very messy and hard to eat and chicken was pretty dry, bread was really good tho. Will definitely try again as people rave about their tamales.
One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while. Definitely will be back and sending my team as well
I had the rajas con queso. It was a great.
Take some to go. They are made to transport
Excellent tortas and high quality ingredients. Limited outdoor seating but still one of the best sandwiches in the neighborhood.
The tamales are just okay. It may be because I'm Hispanic and nothing beats homemade tamales.
2nd location here in East Village and it definitely is just as great as the first! Would recommend this place if you’re looking for something quick or for larger orders, tamal party? I think so.
Good food, but prices raised on everything, will not go back anymore. Sucks because I love on the same block. There's a deli around the corner that makes sandwiches for much less, though not as good.
We had the mole poblano and chicken chipotle tamales today and loved them. We’ll be back to try the others soon!
Probably the best tamales I’ve had in New York so far! Good masa and well spiced/seasoned filling. Tiny location without much space to eat there, but such a great small business to support.
Absolutely loved the salsa verde chicken tamale. The gentleman who took my order was extremely kind and the service was quick!
