Fairfield at Selden

I have had the worst experience just being here for three months. Within the first month we have noticed that we were getting bit by FLEAS! We complained and was told to wait for extermination which took about three weeks to finally get done and also require so much of our own effort and cleaning up the apartment for it to happen. We have not been able to stay here peacefully. Unfortunately the fleas came back, we spoke to some of the neighbors who have said they also are dealing with fleas too. We still waited another month had the place exterminated again. Yet the problem persisted. Now that I am trying to leave this place no one is even caring to help. It's so disheartening and ridiculous how they can force us to stay here after we complained about this major issue. I have tried to call multiple times. I have left voicemails.
No one from leasing or administration even reaches back to us. Not even once. We had our apartment exterminated twice in the past 3 months. We've been having to live with a one year old in a flea infested apartment for over 90 days.
When we moved in this is the last thing I had hoped for.
My one year old daughter has so many bites on her legs, as a mother it pains me to see her waking up in the middle of the night screaming.
The apartment is not habitable Our decision to move to Fairfield was a terribly regrettable one. It is truly such a burden on us and no one from Fairfield cares or is even trying to help.

Stay away from this place, once you live your apartment they will keep your security even if you stayed for one year. I cleaned my apartment before I left and even brought family to help with the cleaning and they still charged me $225 for the cleaning. This corporation are a bunch of thieves, I read they were sued and forced by Suffolk county to give back to former tenants whose security deposit was kept by this corporation illegality. This thieves are just taking advantage of the need people have for housing

If I was able to give zero stars I would.expensive apartments and have nothing luxury about them. They will keep you entire after you leave, even if you maintain the apartment as they gave it to you they will find ways to keep your security deposit. No wonder why they were sued for stealing tenants security deposits

So i deleted my last comment of the complex i live in. Well more like updating it. The staff is amazing you have an issue maintance is great. Alot of residence has moved due to high rent and i too am struggling. My last renewel they increases triple what i usually pay. Times are hard and we who are good tenants are suffering. They say its for upkeep. They tore out bug infested bushes and never replaced them. Neighbors are not two people now three or 4. One couple 5 kids in an apartment. Garbage, beer cans are a problem they clean up pretty quikly especially the nice spanish man in the morning. I want to live here longer still but the rent is killer.

I Recently signed a lease with Joni and she was amazing she made the entire process very simple and walked me through every step of the way making sure I completely understood everything and was taken care of. Thank You to the college road family! Me and my family are happy to be joining you:)
