Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Syracuse Carrier Circle, East Syracuse NY

Great spot to stay while visiting Syracuse. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Probably the best customer service we've had ever while visiting the area.

Their breakfast was typical for this type of hotel, but their attention to details and cleanliness was impressive.

I would definitely stay here again with my family.

We were driving from Michigan. We were delayed and I called to make sure our room was guaranteed for a late arrival. Nikki was so friendly and helpful! Then once we arrived at 2: 30am, Curt was wonderful! He had our room keys ready and even gave each of us a bottle of water. He told us we did not need to bring the luggage cart back down to the lobby because he would get it for us. The room was clean and the beds were comfy! The next morning, Jennifer greeted us with a warm, “Good morning! ” The breakfast and coffee were great, too! I travel a lot and I give this hotel my highest rating! Great people and it was reasonably priced. If you need a hotel in Syracuse, NY, this is the place to stay? 5 stars!

Easy to access from Interstate 90, but also distant enough to be quiet enough for a comfortable rest.
Breakfast buffet was very good with good variety; convenient for a quick getaway.

The bed sheets could've definitely been a lot cleaner. We had to switch out pillow cases for both beds. The amenities were great! Inside pool that accommodates handicap. Complimentary breakfast just wish they had better options. The heat didn't really warm up the room as it should have. Customer service was excellent when checking in and out.

I don't think I've ever been to a better Fairfield Inn.
In fact, this property is better than the Residece Inn which is just around the corner.

I stayed at this location last year, had no problems. This year there were problems. I suspect I had bedbugs in my pillows as I had bite marks develop on my face and my lymph node was enlarged. Since I’ve never encountered them before I wasn’t aware at first what they were. When I called the hotel to inform them and asked for a pest control company to investigate and send the report the manager called me back 5 hours later to state someone else was staying in my room and they weren’t having it checked because “I didn’t have bites on my legs”. They were dismissive of my concerns and refused to provide me with any report that the room and pillow/sanitation area were cleaned. I contacted the County Health Dept.and will never stay there again. The sanitary condition of the hotel and the lack of public health concern by the management is enough to tell me this hotel is trash.

Sheets were dirty (see attached picture). Asked for clean sheets, got more dirty sheets and no change of pillowcases. Called the next day (Aug. 13) to request a partial refund for the unsanitary conditions. Received a return call/message from the hotel manager at 12: 39AM. I called corporate the next morning to complain about the cowardly response in the middle of the night and received a refund within 12 hours. I was then charged the full amount again later that same day (Aug. 14). I am told another refund was issued on Aug. 17,2023 but I have to wait until Aug. 31,2023 for it to come through. The staff at the hotel do nothing but lie. I suppose it makes sense that a hotel that is unsanitary would also handle business so despicably. I have reported the hotel to the Onondaga County Health Department.

Aug. 31: the refund has not come through. Corporate is doing what they can to escalate the issue but they are not able to do much because the hotel has to issue the refund, and the hotel just lies to corporate and tells them they did issue the refund.

I will continue to tell this story as far and wide as I can until the hotel does the right thing and issues a full refund without charging me again.

The room was impeccably clean, up to date, and gorgeous. Everyone I spoke to at the desk was extremely helpful and kind. There was a huge selection for the free breakfast. Great place to stay if you want to be right near a game/concert.

Clean. Great service. Quiet. Price seemed a little high but I wouldn't recommend paying less anywhere else by the airport. We did that on our way in and it was a nightmare. Do not stay at the Quality Inn. This hotel is a safe bet!

New, clean and comfortable hotel, very convenient to the Interstate. Large rooms, comfortable bed, excellent sweet and savory breakfast. Perfect quality/price ratio. Friendly and helpful staff. Advised.

This was our first time staying at a Fairfield Inn. The mobile app made it very easy to book the room and check in. We found the room to be very clean with enough space to setup a pack and play for my youngest. The furnishings throughout the building seems relatively new with a modern feel. I liked that the breakfast area had a variety of tables, including large booths that worked well for our family of 5. Very pleasant experience while passing through Syracuse.

This Fairfield Inn is outstanding. As a Bonvoy Elite member, I was given a room upgrade and a complimentary Fiji water and snack. My room was clean and the breakfast was great. If I ever return to the Syracuse area, I will definitely stay here again.

We had 60 rooms booked for a wedding in Syracuse. The rooms were very nice and the staff was amazing. I want to give a special shout out to Nicole and Jennifer from the front desk who were so accommodating to everyone. They seemed as excited as we all were. They offered the meeting room to us so that we could get together and visit with each other and not disrupt the other guests. So very happy with the hotel and people working there. Thank you all so much!

Nice staff. Everything is clean and well kept. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and seemed new. Breakfast is a nice plus.
