Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott New York Manhattan/Chelsea reviews
11I loved everything, the room was very clean, the girls at the reception were very friendly, the room was very comfortable, I would definitely return
Excellent service, rooms, location the only detail to consider is that it does not have parking and in the area those that exist are two blocks from the hotel and you must be patient while waiting to store the car, in addition those parking spaces are paid, approximately 60 - 70$ USD for 24 hours
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were on the small side, but about what you're looking for in a New York Hotel. Even so, my bed was big and soft, and there was space to retire for an evening of football. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Food was standard for a Fairfield, but they mixed up the fresh fruit/food options just about everyday, so it wasn't dull even staying there for a week. Great value!
It was good for what we paid for. Breakfast was nice, staff was also very nice. Gym is ok. The best thing is the rooftop, you can get some nice pictures of the ESB from there. It’s also well located within Manhattans.
We booked this hotel on the 2nd night of our 5 day trip to NYC after we had a terrible experience with our Airbnb. This hotel was a diamond in the rough without having to shell out a disgusting amount of money. All the receptionists were extremely nice and helpful, we were greeted every time we left the hotel and came back to the hotel. The location of this hotel couldn't be better. You're central to all the big attractions and food places (Chelsea, Time Square, Central Park, Lower East side, Koreatown) and short walking distance to all the main subway lines. Somehow we couldn't hear any street noise when we were in the room. The room/bathroom were clean and the shower room was spacious. They also have free breakfast. Check out was at 12 pm and we were able to get complimentary late 1 pm check out. Overall this is an amazing place to stay and we will definitely stay here next time we're visiting NYC.
The people and room were fine. The location was a inconvenient. Sidewalks were crowded with vendors making it difficult to drag my luggage
The location is superb. The rooms are quite tiny and do not expect something special on the roof. As long as you do not have noisy guests in neighboring rooms, one night could be feasible.
I was originally supposed to stay at the Fairfield on fifth, but they overbooked the hotel. I didn’t mind though because this one was a short walk away. They had already transferred all the information to the hotel by the time I arrived. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating and kind when I arrived. The room was small (which is what i expect in NYC so I don’t mind), but clean. Marriott comped my room for the overbooking, which is why I will always be a loyal customer. The only downside is the street is was on seemed very busy, even at 2 in the morning so it was noisy at times but once I fell asleep I slept very well. Near penn station as well, so convenient for my early morning train.
The staff was always extremely friendly and super attentive! Second time staying at the property and will definitely come back. Rooms are simple but clean, location is prime. Worth the stay.
Staff wasn’t there for us to check in. Once I tried to flag someone down, they were rude to us for trying to get their attention. They didn’t care about the fact that they were wasting our time.
Loved my stay here! Amazing location, super close to Madison Park and the Flatiron Building. The building and room was very clean and felt safe. Bed and pillows were comfy. Wifi was ok, TV was large and had a good channel selection. Breakfast was free and had a nice variety. Service was excellent, they let me borrow a corkscrew to open my wine. Awesome rooftop space! Highly recommend, I will be staying here again!
Bathroom was small, water pressure was low and the street was noisy but these are all things typical to NY.
