Very clean, soundproofed, very pleasant staff, newspapers available. Only the shower curtain is a little short, so the shower tends to dampen the bathroom floor. It's not annoying, it's certainly more so for the cleaning ladies.

Fish goes bad from the head. Indifferent front office manager Jeffrey, lead by unresponsive General manager Kevin Catrambone. Poor representation of Marriott values.

The location is good, the rooms are small.
And the atmosphere is like a youth hostel.that explains the price¡
(The breakfast is like a school buffet.be ready for that)

The hotel is very convenient, nice, clean and good-sized rooms, especially for NYC. The location, although easy to access to many places, I didn't love it, you can find a lot of homeless and garbage nearby and I don't like the 8th and 9th avenues in that area. However it is worth it. Very good quality-price option.

THE WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE! Made us wait over 3 hours for our rooms and when they told us it was ready in 5 minutes we came back and they said it’s another 50 minute wait! After that they told us they don’t even know the time when our cards will be I do not recommend this hotel at all they don’t know how to run a hotel.

Very interesting hotel, very good location, pleasant, friendly, relaxed atmosphere.optimized room/bathroom, always clean. We were there for the end of year/early 2024 holidays.we really appreciated all the attentive and attentive staff (a nod to the one with the little smiley smile), we didn't expect the little free evening aperitif, so great! And a microwave in the room, view of the buildings.
Good soundproofing against outside noise, street noise, etc, except for some rare small door noises/words from certain customers, this may depend on the location of the room (or linked to the small space under the door,? , not disturbing for us). Very good stay, varied breakfast, very complete. Laundry present and affordable Marriot travel (had the opportunity to travel to different countries), very good hotels

*Update* Received a call that my items were found and have started the shipping process. Im thankful for Eric and his phone call. Fyi, if items are valued at under $50, it might not be worth shipping back. (My cost will be 48.00)

It's disheartening that Marriott would care so little about reconnecting me with my items. Called several times, 7-10 minute wait to get a hold of "lost and found" just to be told to call back or they will call me when they can. Leaving Christmas presents behind and no one willing to help has really left a horrible taste in my mouth. I would love to post an update once Marriott takes the time and makes the effort to help me get my items back.
The first trip to NY and the hotel was "ok"
Location is good for subway transfers. Save yourself some money and walk down to CVS for bottled water and toiletries.
Elevators were an issue at peak times, waiting for 3 or 4 full ones, just cram ourselves in one going in the opposite direction we were intending to go just to get on.

Stayed one night. Check-in fast. All staff was friendly throughout visit. Gym adequate and clean. Breakfast had good selection. Room smallish but Ok for two people. Bed comfortable. Room very clean. Only complaint is the AC / Heater made a lot of noise when working. Would stay here again. Conveniently located near Penn Station

Equipped with a very practical laundry room for holidays

It a fan of the jacking up of prices during the holidays- I know it’s a thing, just wonder how a room is one price one night and triple the next. It’s not suddenly the room has turned into the Waldorf.

The elevator wait time is ridiculous - you will be waiting at least 20 minutes to get in, and will stand inside squeezed like sardines in a jar. Also even though breakfast is included, there are simply not enough tables for all the crowd in the morning, maybe according to the management people are supposed to eat sitting on the floor, Idk. The staff is very nice and helpful, but the management clearly sells more rooms than the hotel can handle. I will not stay here again and do not recommend to anyone valuing their time.

A short walk from Madison Square. Easy access to subway on corner. Loved our stay and will be returning next year multiple times!

Really great spot. Free breakfast and a nicer Marriott than a few others nearby. Victor up front is so helpful. Very organized hotel. Would stay again. Location made subway v easy

Top notch friendly service. Great location for visiting the city. It's a short walk to Times Square and easy access to the subway.

BED BUGS & Horrible customer service! I stayed in room 2115 from Nov. 28-30. I woke up with horrible bites upon checking out and advised the front staff and manager. The manager took pictures of my back and arm and just walked away. The girl working up front apologized and stated I would not be charged for my stay and that they would isolate the room and have it treated. I showed them the casing of a bed bug that we found and how allergic I am to the bites. I submitted a case because the hotel charged my card! They lied. I have called the hotel a million times with no response. Even the the elite customer service for Marriott could not get through to them and prefusely apologized for the unprofessionalism of how this has been handled. I went to Black Diamond and showed them the picture and they confirmed that without a doubt it was a bed bug casing. THey have not responded to any of my cases except closing them out. I demand a refund for the pain and suffering your establishment has caused!
