Good price, really great service.
There was a lot of fragrance which wasn’t great for the allergy sensitivity. But will absolutely go here again.

0 Stars would still be too many. Just received a call that our reservation this weekend has been cancelled. “We are no longer going to be a hotel friday onward. ” The weekend before Christmas you make that decision? What moron at Marriott thought this was a good idea?

The manager there was a really nice guy and easy to talk too. The staff were all great and the breakfast was very good. The sundried omelet was great and gluten free!
Love the shuttle to the ferry!

We reserved this room due to a bereavement taking place in Brooklyn. When we arrived the person at the front desk asked my spouse to insert his card for payment. She did not tell us there was a $140.00 security deposit and charged the card. $520 immediately. We declined the stay and the charge was reversed, leaving us without funds to book another room. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice hotel and location close to mall and ferry station. Shuttle service available for all guests. It right off the highway. Would definitely recommend it.

Way overpriced! Place stinks, hallways literally smell! Our rooms air conditioning unit also smells like a cigarette/skunk combo. Oh, and no tv and telephone only works on speaker.

HOTEL IS BEING SUED FOR FALSE ADVERTISING AND DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES. First off the hotel does not have a "Bistro" 2nd the hotel does not have a Bar and or lounge area. The property is in the middle of several migrant shelters. The parking lot looks like a junk yard and there are people milling day and night. This hotel does not provide any kind of security and their designated parking areas fill up so good luck parking.
The hotel takes a $ 120 security deposit as the front desk agent told us " people destroy things here" Management's golden ticket is just a scam. With the exception of Christina the rest of the staff are rude and just done care. ** AVOIND ** The Hilton is about a mile or so, do yourself a favor and stay there.

If you stay on the first floor, there is a consistent beep coming from their “server room/house keeping room”

When I went to front desk, the receptionist on duty could care less. She shrugged and told me, “it’s always like that”. When I asked to be moved, she kept putting me in rooms that were in the same exact area where I could still hear it. After 2 more room transfers, I had to literally tell her to put me in another floor. She seemed like she could care less.

I emailed corporate and the managers and hopefully the noise problem will be resolved for future guests, and that they train their staff to have some hospitality in their hospitality roles. Sheeeshhhh!

The room smelled bad.

The reception assigned me first to an unready room which looked very bad.

Later after I got back from dinner the door for the room was open with somethings in the room shifted. Called the front desk and a lady there named Christina admitted that their staff came to the room but she kept coming up with vague explanations and somehow wanted to blame me for it.

Worst hotel I've ever been to. I still don't believe it's Marriott. The room is dirty. Bed linen with stains and hair. There is food in the refrigerator from previous guests. At 2 am the guests in the next room turned on loud music. I had to call the front desk three times to get them to do something. The only positive thing about the hotel is the breakfast, which is varied and tasty

I would never stayed in that hotel again…. I was trying to cancel my reservation like 2 months before staying there because my friends told us about that hotel and shelter right next door …. After trying to speak with manager for couple times he said no…we would just loose money for reservation because it was not refundable when we booked…but I asked him nicely…please understand us… he was so rude and didn’t want to hear any explanation.

So we stayed at this hotel…. It was not safe at all…a lot of strangers walking around hotel all the time…day and night…. Loud music at night time…my wife couldn’t sleep one night. Poor quality hotel. Rooms OK. Breakfast could be better.

We didn’t feel safe at that hotel…. Don’t recommend to anyone staying there. I hope that manager is happy reading all negative reviews here….

The location is kind of shady.
The rooms need upgrades badly.
The service was excellent!
Elle, Lydia, Frank shout out to you.

The magic lies in the details; whether it's the aroma that greets you, the plushness of the robes, or the twinkle in the staff's eyes, this hotel knows how to make you feel special. Great stay! Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good, and the woman that takes care of the breakfast keeps everything stocked and the area clean. Lobby is appealing, and the room was clean and comfortable. They have a shuttle to the Staten Island Ferry, which was very handy, and the shuttle driver was friendly and shared great information with us.

The place has 2 of their 3 buildings converted to a migrant shelter. The parking lot looks like a junk yard and there are people milling about doing God knows what. They should let customers know of this situation before they arrive. Luckily the Hilton about 2 miles away was able to accommodate me.

I would avoid staying here. They have deceptive practices. I “won” a golden ticket in my check in bag, which they said was worth 10k points. I thought that was great, but had to email someone to claim my points. They had said they would send the points, but now have ignored me and refused to provide the points. What’s the point of doing something like this if you’re not going to follow through.

My rental car was also dented in the parking lot by the hundreds of kids biking where you park your car, so I would never stay here with my personal vehicle, as it’s highly likely to be damaged by the parking lot playground they’ve created there.
