Fairview Rehab & Nursing Home, Queens NY

One of the most depressing and disturbing experiences of my life, broken beds, patients dancing in their own feces, angry & abusive staff, no food or cold food and they let me go five days until they attended to a potentially deadly blood clot.

Thanks for allowing my grandmother to die and suffer. Terrible staff and doctors who should have never received their degrees. Very neglectful staff. They allowed a huge bedsore to take over her whole back. They didn’t even make an attempt to treat it. Never send your loved ones here. I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy here.

Fairview Rehab & Nursing Home is an excellent option for the elderly and those in need of rehabilitation services. The staff is extremely helpful and kind, and they constantly go the extra mile to make sure the residents are happy and healthy. You'll feel like part of the family in no time.

In addition to being spotless and well-kept, the building also has a cheery, inviting ambiance. The common areas are wonderful for gathering with friends and family, and the rooms itself are pleasant and roomy.

Fairview Rehab & Nursing Home provides excellent rehabilitation services. Each patient is given individual attention from a team of therapists and nurses who are committed to seeing them reach their full potential and improve their health. They also offer numerous programs and events designed to keep residents active and involved.

Those in need of a good nursing home or rehabilitation center have my unqualified recommendation for Fairview Rehab & Nursing Home. When it comes to caring for the residents, everything from the staff to the facilities to the services offered is top-notch. They are a great, supportive neighborhood that makes a positive impact on the lives of its residents.

I will give this place 0.1 star. Tried getting an answer for two days, getting transferred with no response. Not sure who regulates this facility but I will find out

Honestly I'd like to know.

This place should be shut down, illegal practices, horrifying service, liars will say anything you want to hear and never follow through, we never thought we'd encounter such incompetence and lack of care. Sweethearts when you first arrive there, but it's all a scam, they just want to get paid and don't give a shyat about anything or anyone, they have zero compassion!

Worst place ever they hire kids no staff on site that know what they are doing new york state needs to shut this place down.
They put on a big show when visitors are around the minute no one is there there is no taking care of noone. During visiting hours they make a big show of how they treat everyone nicely. Got there early day that my dad was going to be discharged. Got to see the real horror and shot show that this place is. Do not take your love one there

I went to see the Fairview facility for my grandmother and was so impressed with how friendly, organized and clean it was! The staff answered all my questions. I left with such ease. Thank you

This place should receive negative stars. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure how medicaid nor the department of health let's this place stay open. It is devastatingly concerning! My brother was transferred there from the hospital recovering from pneumonia. When he left the hospital, he was his regular happy self. Although my brother could only move his arms and legs, utilizing only gross motor skills due to a previous stroke, he left the hospital using them. Within 2 days my brother whom wasn't fed until my nephew got there to feed him, was almost in a "rigor mortis" vegetative state. My brother was sent to fairview with a picc line for his antibiotics. The hospital doctor's orders were for a vascular Dr to oversee and change this life saving picc line if anything was to happen to it. My brother's picc line became clogged over 3 times a day for 3 days. This is why he almost died because the pneumonia came back full blast. Fairview never had a vascular Dr. Check or fix the line within the 3 days. At one point they scheduled for him to go out to see a vascular specialist, BUT NEVER DID SEND HIM. To fast forward, past the police having to be called on the next door patient, complaining about being neglected, and the across the hall patient begging to go to the hospital and for his meds, IT TOOK 6 HOURS FOR THIS PLACE TO FINALLY RELEASE my brother. FINAL THOUGHTS. There are good places, great workers everywhere, and some who shouldn't care for any living thing. Fairview has some good caring people, YET THEY DONT WORK TOGETHER! SO one bad apple rottens the entire facility by neglecting and almost letting patients die!

Horrible. Just horrible. The nurses send over confused patients to clinic without know what is wrong with patients. Also without an aid and expecting the patient to know and do everything on their own. I hope the family members choose to take their lived ones else where

Fair view staff are AMAZING AND REALLY HELPFUL! Always there whenever we needed something! They make the experience in Fairview a happy and comfortable place! Very clean and spacious

Husband was there. He was neglected.fell twice thank God he wasn't hurt (so they say) Was allowed to roam around at night. No one watching him Do the staff sleep at night? IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVE ONE THINK TWICE BEFORE ABOUT SENDING THEM THERE MY HUSBAND SUFFERS FROM DEMENTIA. FAIRVIEW CARES ABOUT MONEY NOT THE PATIENTS

Very very bed DR: unexpected full phone service.no body pic up phone if same one’s pick up phone they don’t know answer
They take your phone # never call back,
They not think other people time valuables,
They like to Kip people there unnecessary make money
When family ask discharge they said discharge now insurance not pay
Family have to pay par-day cost,
I am sorry to say. This is happened with me.

Both of my grandparents received care at Fairview. The staff did an exceptional job of making sure my grandparents were well taken care of. My grandparents loved it as well and their strength was rehabilitated to the point where we were able to have them back home. Thank you Fairview.

Nice place but the staf on the 1st are always running dey fukin moufs, could hear their conversations from the hallway

HORRIBLE PLACE. THE STAFF ARGUES WITH THE PATIENTS, THE THERAPY RUINS YOU, THE FOOD IS LOUSY, AND THEY GIVE SMALL PORTIONS. YOU HAVE TO BEG FOR YOUR MEDICINE. PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! VERY RUDE AND UNFEELING PEOPLE HERE, ONLY ONE GIRL HAD COMPASSION.

Thank you for taking care of my grandma and doing such a good job making her comfortable on her last days! I appreciated that you guys called me regularly to give me updates on her condition. Taking care of very elderly is so hard and selfless since these patients often can no longer talk or show appreciation.so thank you!
