Bizarre “Masks-for-Profit” Scheme Forces Cancellations, Amuses Staff

We've had largely positive experiences regarding dental care at this practice. I know that good businesses can descend into indifference and callousness without much provocation. Yet I feel this story characterizes Fall Creek Family Dentistry well.
I had just been diagnosed with a serious illness, and undergone a painful procedure. While still in pain and emotionally vulnerable, I received a phone call from Fall Creek Family Dentistry to reschedule the appointments for myself and my two children to a different hygienist and a slightly earlier time that day. I accepted because it did seem convenient - I would be driving the kids around town immediately prior to the appointment time, and an earlier end to the day was welcome since driving was painful.
Upon arriving at the practice (10 minutes early! Wow!) after guitar lessons, groceries, more guitar lessons, lunch, and a playdate, I realized we had forgotten our masks. I called before entering the building apologizing that we'd forgotten our masks and asking if we could borrow three for our appointments. We were told we could go home and get them, purchase some from the neighboring drugstore, or purchase them from the practice. I mentioned that seemed unreasonable, that we would be happy to borrow from the supply they are using for their staff, and - since it is mandated - surely a reasonable practice to ensure COVID safety would be to provide masks to clients in the event they are forgotten or otherwise unsatisfactory. I was interrupted and put on hold.
*note: there were no other patients in the building. Allowing 1 family to enter maskless and/or to borrow masks is well within COVID safety guidelines at the time of original posting*
Before being put on hold I had been rummaging through the car and actually found a mask. I entered the building and found the front desk staff stifling laughter at my expense. Imagine the kind of people that find it funny when a woman is experiencing physical and emotional pain, is doing her best to follow protocol, and is in need of help. These are the people that are the literal face of Fall Creek Family Dentistry.
I asked again to borrow masks for my two children and was told again I could go home, purchase from next door, or purchase from them. I was honestly also just fatigued and in pain at this point. I told them I'd just cancel and I turned to leave. On the way out someone giggled and yelled "Just so you know! It's $25 to cancel! "

Dr Kristna Kapur is the rudest person I have ever met! I would never recommend her. If you go ask to see Dr Mauleon he is great.

My experience at Fall Creek Family Dentistry was amazing, from the great staff at the reception desk, to the great dental assistance, great dental hygienist and most important the amazing Dentist Dr Mauleon!
The office is clean, up to date technologically, knowledgeable staff and professionalism. From the previous dentists I have been to in the area this is the place I recommend if you want people who care about you and want the best results.
Recently I had a root canal and crown, it was painless and done right the first time. Throughout the process the dentist explained each step from start to finish. This put my mind at ease and I would recommend Fall Creek Family Dentistry to any of my friends family and all of you!
That being said I too can not understand the negative remarks on here. It baffles me and is not an experience I have heard from friends who go there nor the patients I have talked to in the Office. I’m sorry for those who had bad experiences and you should probably write to the practice and let them know what your experience was and what went wrong.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but unfortunately, I have had a handful of bad experiences here before. The last visit there, my hygienist said that I had not one, not two, but SEVEN cavities. The new place I am currently going to suggested that I had two small cavities that could be cleared up in no time. Also, the work that is done is not professional. When I got my cleanings, the work to my teeth was done very roughly. After every cleaning, my teeth and gums were sore for a day afterwards. To conclude, I would look around a bit more before choosing this place.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Worst receptionists ever and the actual dentists aren't much better!

The dentist I had (female, forgot her name) was fine but brusque. The people working there are likewise very brusque and impatient.

No issues so far, I have been a client here for about 2 years. I have to say staff and hygienist was a great guy but he left so I don't know who will be taking care of me and how the treatment will be I hope the same professionalism as before. If something change I'll come back here and write it up,

If I could give 0 starts I would. Oh my goodness please do not attend this practice, They are absolutely terrible. They are incredibly unprofessional, rude, and lack compassion. This is definitely not a practice I will continue to bring my children to. I missed one appointment during Covid-pause and they sent me a $50 missed appointment bill in the mail. When I called to discuss, the office manager told me " PAY YOUR BILL" and hung up on my face. I am in disbelief and tears. I hope this practice shuts down, and I will be reaching out to whoever I can to file as many complaints as possible this week and the coming weeks. This is not how any family should be treated.

Don’t recommend this place at all, they rescheduled my apt when i was half way there, i missed that appointment that they rescheduled for because they made it for a different time, went in mad because i got charged a missed appointment fee, so swore towards front desk lady, later apologized, and was sorry because it wasnt her fault, then she proceeded to make me an apt and gave me an appointment card for it, but purposely never my my appointment in the system so its now the day of my appointment and i show up and they dont have my appointment in the system. Absolutely garbage service

Very Professional and thorough! I am unclear how anyone has a negative thing to say regarding this Dental office. The doctors and staff are excellent, and I have been to several offices in my 56 years. I highly recommend this dental office.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Incredibly unprofessional staff— Dentist put a silver filling that was way too large, and did not cover the tooth the whole way. I have shown my x-rays to multiple other dentists who have agreed that the filling was done extremely poorly, and now I have to get a crown on that tooth. May be a cheaper alternative to a real dentist, but will cost you a lot more money down the road. I hope this place gets shut down, they’ve ruined enough teeth.

Terrible service, rude receptionists. I had to drive 7 hours round trip to get my tooth extracted because they wouldn't see me even in an emergency.

Unfortunately I have to change my review. Everyone is nice, but not everyone knows what they are doing. The dental hygienist is fabulous as well as the assistant to the dentist, and those who work in reception. I went in with great hope. The dentist worked on one tooth - only one tooth and couldn't manage to figure out what was going on. I sit here now with a dental abscess. Instead of going back to them I visited Urgent Care and was given an antibiotic. I have an appointment with a new dentist in a couple of weeks. When anyone winds up with an abscess, it's because there is an infection at the root. I went to this dentist in November, there obviously was a problem because I was given an antibiotic twice. Since she could not see anything in the Xrays, I should have been referred to a specialist. I now understand why there are so many poor reviews.
