Family Dollar, Jamaica NY

There prices are adding up. Yes to many high prices. You lose money in family dollar. Use to be the store back in the days. Now prices are way to high. And the product is very small.

I was pleasantly surprised that this store had a lot of nice household items at decent prices.

Do not shop there. Food items I bought was expired. Staff is rude, and there is never anyone there to help you even when the store is not busy. They act like they’re doing you a favor just to answer a question.

Quite a few useful items but the place was a MESS. Not sure if they were in the middle of stock replenishment or what but some of the aisles were impassable. Only one cashier that I saw and I had to wait at counter for quite a bit before she materialized.and when she did she was on her cell phone.

Additionally, the sign on door stated masks mandatory but I saw several customers without masks and nothing was said or done. So enter at your own risk I guess.

Store closes hours early when I asked the guard he said it closes whenever manager decides. Used to like coming here guess I will be shopping at Dollar Tree. This isn't reliable anymore.

Wow.store doors were closed an hour early. Called up, excuse was “doing inventory”. My response was “sooo ummm”, completely baffled. Who ever was on the phone then proceeds to say “we are doing Wednesday inventory, we are busy have a lot to do”.
Again another excuse, when is it ever right to close up an hour earlier for inventory? In a day of age when people are trying to get work, we have the worst manager in history running the store. Yet, they somehow keep their job. Mind you, was in the front before 9: 15pm. Once again, worst employee in history. Who even tells a potential customer that? !

This is definitely a go to spot of mind for a little bit of everything. They have it, from juice and snacks to things for my child to most house hold supplies, medicine, you can count on family dollar.

They are never really crowded at all, plus the prices on there merchandise is really cheap.

The cashier's and staff are very cool and friendly, don't forget about their frozen foods section, which has a nice selection. Plus they have a nice size parking lot.

Just like dollar tree.cheap price.gd staff.overall gd experience.but Walgreens is better if u have a card.

This store usually will be stocked with customers and merchandise. Today it was in short supply of both. One thing that didn't change is the helpful nature of the staff

Girl at checkout said I could not shop there without a mask then proceeded to serve the next customer who was talking on her phone with her mask underneath her chin then soon after took her own mask down uncovering her mouth & nose. I don’t see the point in this at all. Will not shop here again, they’ve lost my business

You could find the smallest details for your crafts at a very cheap price. I would give a 5 stars, because of the customer service in this local. Nice clerks, but a messy place.

The store is poorly organize.hardly see any assistant so far that one is the worse one I visit

Manger was very rude to me while going thre my tough times in this covid-19 I lost my home my job, car ect. I honestly told him that I was just barrowing and honestly planed to bring it back in these times of crises as govnor likes to say we should all be there for each other and because I told the manger I know they charge 100$ for carts if they go missing and because I knew that I was willing to bring it back it was rude and didn’t try to say sorry for your situation or anything I really wish him the best because just like fell in life he can to as me being a women you could have been more kinder I even spent money in his store 100$ like wow and I have the recipe ya to prove it
