Famous Pita, Hewlett NY

Hands down the best shawarma in laffa with all different fresh salads, hummus and tehina I have ever eaten anywhere (including Israel)! Portions are generous and beyond tasty. I can’t say enough about this great place. Run - don’t walk to get the best food ever

Ordered baby chicken overall was OK except I found some part you can't chew they didn't clean it well I am guessing.when I left it was OK but a few hrs later I started to understand I did an mistake I went there and I spent few good hours in the bathroom.
You should make sure you serve food that doesn't have any hazard and risk to your customers.

First time visitor, I've never had food like this but the servers made the experience even more enjoyable. I left with a full stomach and full heart.

The food is amazing and that's what keeps me coming back to the place. Portions are very generous
However I have learned to order online and pick up, at night, when the crowd is less. The lines to order are not organized at all and it is a tight space so best not value your personal space here

This place is the worst. They are so rude and expensive a Snapple is $3.45 and it is tiny.

Not sure what happened here but the food does not taste like it used to. Started watering down to tahini the shawarma has no flavor and bits and pieces of it are raw.

My favorite shawarma In the states only places that taste better aren't in this country great food great prices and great quick service I been back like 5 times already. Unreal

As excited I was to eat at Famous pita I was disappointed when I got my food because I had to wait 45 minutes for an order when I was informed that I have to wait 20 minutes by the time my turn to get my order there was no more Shawarma left and I was offered instead some kind of grilled chicken when I told the guy working the hotline. I wanted the actual shawarma he wasn't helpful at all he didn't even offer to refund the money and gave me attitude as if it's my fault there was no more Shawarma left, reluctantly I took the chicken that tasted horrible it still had hard and raw parts and, falafel tasted great, hummus delicious and warm pita bread I'll give 4**** for food quality (apart from chicken) 1* for professionalism

So the shwarma is amazing. Probably the best in the five towns. However only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the one older gentleman who took my order seemed rude and forced me to rush my order. I wanted to take my time and see what was on the menu and he was very annoying so I just placed an order for shwarma in a pita but I would love to explore more on the menu. Would probably come back anyway because the other workers were nice and friendly and the food was great.

Didn’t expect the food to be this good! Loved it here and will definitely come back! Cooked perfectly, food was very tasteful!
Customer service was excellent as well! I was helped by a guy named Jonathan who was able to accommodate my special request, Awesome!

Basically it's very good place except the fact it's crazy expansive I'm saying 20$ for shawarma is a lot so up to u, after the tax it's 20$ the owner is saying the truth they fill it up as much as they can but not for 20 $

The pita and fries are very fresh and delicious. All of the employees are very nice and go out of their way to make you comfortable/give you exactly the food you are looking for. Falafel and shawarma are amazing. 11/10.

This is a classic Israeli shawarma falafel shop. They’re shawarma and falafel are delicious and I was able to try both during the same visit bc they have what’s called a shawaffle (half falafel/ shawarma) they don’t skimp on either portions though.
Too bad it’s so far from the rest of the restaurants.

Food was very Good. I was at the origional famous pita grand opening in Brooklyn under primetime billiards on kingshighway (Avenue p) many years ago. I naturally was excited. Wish them luck

WOW! The food was amazing. Really enjoyed it. Absolutely delicious. Very fresh. The store was very clean. The service was really friendly. Great overall experience.
