Fat Black Pussycat reviews
18I didn't know who would show up, but i got andrew schulz and dave chappelle in my show.andrew was the funniest.good show.offensive jokes.very funny.
First time here. Was sitting at the front row and the opening act was Dave Chappelle. What a treat! All of the acts were great.
The show manager Kazi was extremely rude and snarky when asked about ID policy - instead called us rude for enquiring more about their physical ID requirement
I’ve always gone to the Village Underground and this was my first experience here, and it’s nice! Feels less cramped in this one, and the comedians were amazing. The audience also seemed smaller so it felt more intimate. Definitely recommend.
Every time I’m over from London I make sure to pay a visit to the comedy cellar or FBP. It’s never been a dull night.
Top (world) class standup performers. Service and organization is impeccable
So funny! The show was about an hour and had 5 very hilarious comedians. Perfect for a date night, friends or whomever but beware if you sit in the front row you will get called out!
If you wanna get crazy, this is the place you come with ya friends.
Get there, get table, get shots.
Don’t complain about their attitude.
Just enjoy.
This is the third tear of the Comedy Cellar family in NYC. It’s the nicest interior but I’ve had more luck at the other locations when wanting big names to show up to the late late showings.
It’s a good spot and worth a visit but if you’re trying to catch a big star… you have to visit the location around the corner.
Phenomenal place and everyone who works there are outstanding people.professionalism all around and I’ll be back soon.
I've always watched comedy shows in the original Comedy Cellar space and was a little nervous to go here but it was small and intimate which is the way it should be. Talent level is very good at the Cellar in general so I never doubt that I'll have a great time even if I don't know any of the comics.
The Comedy Cellar website needs to be revamped and updated. Old school! Buying tickets is not a fun experience and it totally glitches out at times. Tried to buy tix this weekend and it kept kicking me out and then when I got thru everything was sold out.
I didn’t come for a comedy show. I met a friend here for drinks. The vibe was great. Food drinks, friendly bartender…. What else can you ask for.
Really great show but the staff takes your phone and smart watch without really giving an explanation. There’s also a two item minimum that we weren’t aware of prior to going to the show. The actually comedy was amazing, though!
The worst manner on the bouncers. They shuttled everyone outside the club and then when asked to use the bathroom they refused despite trying to explain that I was just inside and left from the other side.
I have sent you an email with the title complaints about bathroom and I have yet to receive any updates.
Remember to bring your physical passport if you aren’t from states otherwise the guard won’t let you in, we didn’t get to see the show was looking forward to see the show even arrange as our final activity in NY, very disappointed.
Been going to cellar shows for years, always a reliably good show!
Unfortunately, every time I’ve been to this location security have been rude in line and after the show. Ruins the vibe, especially for out of town friends and family.
Highly recommend every other Cellar location but this one!
Nice club and overall great comedians and great staff inside. Why the 2 star sadly the security out front is unnecessarily really rude and unpleasant. Saw some of their own colleagues actually look at them in despair not understanding why they have to be so mean. We had a great night and were in great spirits prior to that. The arrival experience really ruined our mood for comedy, it’s a shame.
All in all we enjoyed the night and had some good laughs. MC hardly did anything, just kept asking where everyone was from and then continued to only introduce the acts. It also felt like the comedians were doing us a favor by being there. Atmosphere was so so. It was my first time there and really can't compare it to the experience at the Comedy Cellar itself which I've been to several times and really enjoyed.
