Fat Doughnut reviews
9Consistently great food, and big portions. My go-to for sending people treats on special occasions.
Honestly… one of the best doughnuts i’ve ever had.would be 5 stars if there was more variety & if they had bec available (came too close to opening). Will be back!
Unique delicious donuts. Would love a donut shop to stay open late though for late-night sugar cravings. Dunkin is plastic garbage.
Fat Doughnut is usually a 5/5 for me. This review goes out to the skater looking dude behind the counter with who said “maybe [I’m] too short to see the sign that says no donuts til 10/1”. Well maybe use a thicker marker next time, put it next to your Grade rating, and train people to make donuts instead of unnecessary comments ¯_ (ツ) _/¯
Donuts: 3.5 stars
Variety: 1 star
Price: 3.5 Stars?
Egg sandwich is about $7 but decent size for the price.
Not worth going out of your way to check this place out, which is what I did. There's good donuts all over the place.
Another reviewer mentioned Boston cream. Got here 30 min after opening to "we don't have it today. "
No place with donut in their name should have such a limited selection.
I was driving by after delivering a nice settlement check to one of my clients in the area and this donut shop caught my eye. After all, who can resist a "Fat Donut. " Certainly not me. I went in and instantly saw that this was a unique gem. I bought three donuts and a coffee (two Boston creme and one filled with strawberry preserve). Boy oh boy was I happy I stopped by. The donuts were HUGE and most certainly fat. One donut was like the size of two or three from Dunkin. As soon as you bite into it, the creme is bursting at the seams. An overall magnificent experience. I will certainly be back to satisfy my sweet tooth again soon. Also, the owner Ilya is an overall great guy.
One of my favorite neighborhood spots. Really damn good donuts and down to earth staff. Always try to bring my pals from out of town here!
Go for the donuts - maple donut was great, but the matcha donut was too sweet and not authentic matcha flavor. Salmon and cream cheese bagel was a disk of cream cheese with 3 slices of salmon. Bagels were tough and hard, more of a roll than a bagel - would not recommend.
**Ordered takeout during COVID pandemic
Food/drink
*Egg & cheese panini (white bread, mozzarella) - good
*Cinnamon roll - good
*Maple glazed donut - very good
*Strawberry frosted sprinkle donut - good
*Cookies ‘N’ Cream donut (vanilla frosting; Oreo looking cookie crumbles) - Good
*Espresso - not a fan
