2My first visit with Dr. Freye was about 17 years ago. My son visits for a chronic condition. My next visit was last week. My visit was as great as the first. Professional and just what I expected—> Perfect……
Attempted to schedule appointment for my teenage daughter. Staff who answer phone was being rude the second she answered phone. When asked about insurance I stated my daughter had 2 different insurances.one through my husband and other through myself. Person seemed to have already been in a bad mood when she rudely stated “that doesn’t matter, who is the primary” I immediately just froze as I was shocked of the way I was being spoken. She noticed the pause in my voice and proceeded to ask what is my insurance, I informed her name of my insurance in return she cut me off immediately not allowing me to give my husbands insurance info. The staff member stated “you are a self pay patient! ” At this point I am feeling so disrespected by her tone and proceeded to blur out my husbands insurance which would be my daughters primary and it’s a participating plan accepted by facility. She cuts me off rudely verbalizes “it does not matter, I’m going by yours”.
I’m baffled someone is allowed to get away with this unprofessional behavior. DR. Fray is an exceptional Dermatologist. Her front desk person is in desperate need of Customer Service training or go work somewhere she’s happy!
