Used to come here Pre pandemic and often visited their Hudson yards location. Always had a good experience.
Did a walk-in this time. Barber was all over the place for a simple buzz cut and beard trim for the price you pay. It was not a pleasing experience.

My six year old got his hair cut here on my birthday and came out very happy. Joe T.did a did a great job and we’ll be back. Reasonable prices.

Had a haircut with Dan. Helped me choose a style based on what I was telling him and came out great. I’ll be coming back to him for my next cut for sure.

I have been visiting Noemi, my phenomenal hair stylist, since October 2020, and I can say without a doubt that she has consistently provided me with the best haircuts I've ever had. Noemi's talent for transforming my hair into a work of art leaves me feeling like a million bucks after every appointment. She has cut my haircut for numerous special occasions, including my wedding. Needless to say, I am never nervous to get my haircut before an event.

Her keen eye for detail and expert technique ensure that each haircut is tailored to suit my style and preferences. Noemi's warm and friendly demeanor makes every visit a truly enjoyable experience. I would suggest Noemi to anyone looking for the best haircut they have ever had.

Each time I've been back in NYC the past few years I've made sure to get my haircut from Noemi. She's a done a superb job each time. Even this most recent cut, where I left the chair not 100% sure, turned out to be the correct style/cut for me. I'll be going back.

Getting my haircut by Absolut has been the best thing to happen since I’ve started the search for a new barber. She makes me feel cared for when in her chair, and the work she does…. SO CLEAN! Even put hearts into my skin fade for Valentine’s Day for me. 10/10 you gotta get a cut w Absolut

Honestly, nice place - extremely expensive and probably the worst fade Ive had since moving to NYC 4 years ago. TERRIBLE

This haircut was a really disappointing experience and I won’t be coming back. I’m going to have to get another haircut today to fix the one I got yesterday. My barber was kind but must have been inexperienced. I really could not follow his plan as he was cutting my hair - he kept going over the same places many times and would cut the tiniest amount each time. Some parts are way too long, others way too short. At one point he tripped while walking around the chair and caught his balance holding onto my head. When he used the hot wet towel, he left it on my shoulders for the next 5 minutes and it soaked my shirt. I was just so confused the whole time and should have spoken up but did not expect it to be this bad.

I've been going to Fellow Barbershops for many years and on both coasts - Mission and Market when I lived in San Francisco and then the West Village location when I moved back here to NYC. I was delighted when they opened this NoMad one super close to where I live. The other day I went as a walk in for a quick 15 minute trim. When I went to check out I was shocked that my $45 pre-pandemic cut was now $75 (basically $100 with tip). I thought their whole thing was good cuts at reasonable prices. Surprisingly here's the blurb from their website, in 2006 in NYC "there were two options for haircuts: to make an appointment at a salon and pay $90 and up or to pay a visit to the closest barbershop charging an average of $12 for a limited range of haircut styles and uneven quality. We wanted to provide an elevated and relevant sense of style with our barbering service, with a convenient, walk-in wait list and a $40 price point. " I guess it's time they updated their story on their website.

Sam here is amazing. So skilled and always gives a quality haircut. Also a really relaxed, chill person who has a good sense for how conversational to be depending on the day. Highly recommend.
