Worst place to go in an emergency specially if you are Hispanic the don’t give you the right service my friend son was there with an appendicitis pain and they put him out on the waiting area

Would’ve given 0 stars, the ER Nurses Heather and Kristina) are border line rude to patients, and super disrespectful, the audacity to act like that in front of sick people that need help is just sickening. I don’t know how they still have their jobs. They barely do it right. Find a better place to go people!

Eleven days ago I had major surgery (left hip anterior method) and pre-reading the reviews of this hospital had given me pause on more than one occasion before the operation. However, there was not one moment from the intake folks at 699 S. Main Street to everyone at the hospital prior to the surgery, during the surgery and after the procedure who did not act at the highest level of professionalism. Dr. Nathan Kaplan and his surgical team were truly amazing. I'm walking now w/o a cane much of the time and my pain has never approached what I was experiencing before the operation.
Kudos also to the nurses who took care of me afterwards for a day. I fear I will not remember all, but Todd, Adrian, Kelly were great as was the incredible Eileen in PT.
All in all I don't know what hospital many of the negative reviewers went to but it may have been in a parallel universe. Again my sincerest thanks for a healthy, caring experience at Thompson Hospital.

I have been at the ED for 5 hours now with a hernia and awaiting a CT scan. There were only a few people here when I got here. People that came in after me are being taken to get CTscans. They took blood for a pregnancy test. I'm 48 years old and in menopause. This is ridiculous. I can't believe this is the care people get here. There is no excuse. In the mean time I am hypoglycemic and not allowed to eat or drink anything until after imaging. I feel dizzy and ill now on top of the pain.

I came to this hospital with numerous asthma problems & I wasn’t happy with my results. The wait is super long which I can be understanding about cause I also work in healthcare but for someone to come in by ambulance & still have to wait two hrs in the waiting room with shortness of breath is horrible. Doctors & nurses were nice for the most part. Hospital was clean.

I came in because I was having shortness of breath and chest pain. They take your vitals when you first check in and then they get you situated very quickly. They don’t make you wait a super long time which is really good. The nurses and doctors are very nice and caring.

This hospitals labor and delivery room is DIRTY! One would think they would have clean rooms and clean bathrooms! Not the case.

ER staff was very responsive, helpful, and all seemed in good spirits when I visited the ER.

Emergency department very slow. No sense of urgency. Poor communication with patients. Just wait. And wait. And wait. Why can’t they stop renting and building more buildings and hire doctors instead?
