I'm crazy. & Jacob gets my crazy and makes me a better looking crazy. I first found Jacob when I needed a quick fix to a horrible color job. My flight landed from LA and I went straight to him. He's patient and honest with what will work and what won't. I love my color and cut and will continue to go back. Finally found a new hair place since my move to NY. The salon is a lot of fun as well! Jacob and Coco love to laugh and chat & it's overall a great experience (and not just because of the full candy dish they always have!). Highly recommend!

I have found my man and his name is Jacob! I moved from San Francisco a few years ago. I spent the first year going to many local salons trying to find the right person to cut and color my hair. I was so shocked because I am a very easy going and not super picky person. I went to big salons + with big names + big dollars but the result was never outstanding- just average. I wanted a change and all I wanted was the balayage highlights and a trim. Simple!

I finally found a salon on upper east side called Fine Artistik Salon. From the minute I walked in it felt right. It wasn't stuffy, it had a range of stylists and the creative energy flowing was perfect. They recommended me to Jacob and he gave me exactly what I was looking for. He is a complete expert in his field. This past week was my third visit to him. He makes it seem effortless and I always walk away feeling beautiful. You can tell he has been in the hair Industry forever. His creativity is always spot on. A genuine stylist with superior qualities. I can't thank Jacob enough. I can just relax and I let him do what he does best. I might consider hair extensions just for a bit of fullness body and some movement but will have to wait and see how I feel. Thank you Jacob!

I have a very unruly curly hair and I always wanted straight hair with natural blonde balayage highlights the straight hair was no problem because I would get the keratin treatment but nobody ever was able to give me the hair color I wanted. The last stylist I went to turned my hair green. WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT? I didn't want to go back to get it corrected (trust issues). So I went online and researched hair color salons in NYC that specialized in color correction and that specialized in balayage highlights and that's when I found artistik hair salon. I followed their work for almost 2 weeks on Instagram and Facebook. Looked at their before and after work and it seemed that they knew what they were doing. When I finally decided to schedule an appointment I send them an email and within minutes they reached back and the process to schedule an appointment was very very easy. I came last week Wednesday and my appointment was with Jacob. We talked and I explained him my hair coloring history. He was very straight forward and explained to me the process that he would do to give me the color I wanted. He corrected my base hair color that had the green highlights then he asked me if I wanted the olaplex treatment with my balayage highlights so my hair won't get damaged and maintained healthy. He is talented and I could see that he loves what he does because it's done with a passion. My color and highlights looked just like the photos I showed him and the hair felt soft after the blowout. It was shiny. I NEVER left the salon with the color I wanted and my hair feeling so soft and looking shiny as I left Jacob's salon. No wonder the salon has high ratings! It is because they are excellent.

Small, clean, nice contemporary salon. My stylist Jacob did an outstanding work on my highlights correction-I kept going to a local salon near my house and every time I would ask my stylist to make it brighter he would make it yellow and brassy looking plus every time I would walk out of the salon my hair would feel like straw! Not only was the color bad but it also impacted the texture. After visiting Fine Artistik Salon, my hair was the color that I requested and my hair felt soft. AND IT LOOKED SHINY! When I left the salon, while I was in Starbucks line waiting for my order, I got 2 compliments on my hair. Prices are great and online booking is a nice convenience, too. Highly recommend 5 stars!

First time I went to Fine Artistik Salon because I needed to fix the highlights that were done by another hairdresser who left me with half yellow half beige highlights all over my hair. Jacob did an amazing job by bringing my hair back to normal and actually making it even prettier as he suggested to use a toner at the end creating more of a natural look. Ever since I'm going to him and am super happy with my hair color! He knows how to make that perfect beige highlights (not yellow!) and I prefer the regular "old fashion" weave technique for my hair. Just make sure you tell him exactly what you want. And if you are doing highlights every 3 months like I do- don't miss on Olaplex treatment- totally worth the extra money as it saves your hair!

My hair was severely damaged from a previous salon. It was bad. I came here due to the wonderful reviews and photos on Instagram. I figured if they can't help me no one can. Wow. I got beautiful results! My hair feels 100% better. We went from blotchy orange roots with chunks of yellow/silver/white/gray highlights to ash brown roots and babylight balayage highlights. Jacob my colorist took his time and offered me several options how we can achieve my color. I could tell he loves what he does because he took his time. Didn't rush. Thank you Jacob for spending so much time on my hair to make sure I was happy. My bf loved it. My co-workers loved it. My friends loved it. He was honest and straightforward. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!

I'm SOOOOOO grateful for finding Jacob at this salon! My last stylist just wasn't listening to what I wanted, so I knew it was time to make the scary change. Thanks to everyone's reviews, I decide to try out artistik salon. He TRULY is the BEST at blonde highlights! He literally listened to me ramble on about my likes, dislikes and fears for 40 minutes. (I apologized for being so detailed with what I wanted, but he said he appreciated it when a client can tell him exactly what they want and don't want). Well, he did just that. I LOOOOVEE my hair! I will DEFINITELY be going back! I walked in with blah white some parts yellow hair with no dimension and brassy roots (from my old stylist who thought I would look good with warm tones - YUCK) I asked for dimension with a cool shadow roots, and that's EXACTLY what I got #LOVE I also have to mention, before he mixed my color and throughout the appointment time, he asked if I wanted anything to drink. Very large beverage selection. Thank you! FYI, they offer olaplex, so don't forget to ask.
