Finger Lakes Boating Museum reviews
11Lots of small boats and motors to look at. These boats were all built in the Finger Lakes. Really nicely displayed. Admission was $10 per adult, with free admission for children.
You can for sure learn something by coming into this museum. I spent about an hour here and left having a better understanding of shipbuilding in the area. As others have pointed out, watching the video is highly helpful and informative. There are a few things about this museum that struck me as odd, such as the winery areas in the basement. Overall, I think it’s worth checking out. Also, the man working here is very nice.
Impressive. If you like small boats, wood boats, or the history of the field Niger lakes you will really enjoy this museum. Even better you can take courses in wood boat building.
Very nice piece of history. Loved that they kept the original history of the building. Fascinating to see all the different boats.
Loved the woodwork done on these boats. It also provides a great history of boats building in the Finger Lakes.
A wonderful place full of beautifully restored boats of the finger lakes. History, hands on, fun. Set in an old winery, the building is interesting too! Check it out.
A really neat/unique look into Fingerlakes local history! Would absolutely recommend a visit!
Enjoyed touring this beautiful museum in its idyllic setting when I attended a swap meet here. I hope to return for more and other themed events in the future
We had a fantastic field trip here! Hands on learning and engaging activities. Each time we visit there is more and more to see. Beautiful drive and great for a family visit!
Really enjoyed this museum. Beautiful boats that were crafted in the Finger Lakes Region. You can even take a ride on a ferry boat that I saw them rebuilding and converting to EV a few years ago. The Pat II ferry boat ride on Keuka Lake is highly recommended.
