Amazing subs and good prices.but 20 minutes waiting for the food is crazy.teenagers should spend more time working less time talking to each other.

First time here today and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful.
I'm almost glad I don't live closer because I'd be there so often.
Great location and great subs!

LG Turkey Bacon Ranch came to $12 something and fed two adults. Much better than subway at the same price.

UPDATE: picked up a Chicken Chipotle medium, gluten free sub with thousand island dressing today.did not order on line. Went into the store. Placed my order (extra cost for gluten roll), total for medium was $9.00 plus me change. It was tasty and still warm when I brought it home. However medium looked like small to me. The wait time went quickly and the staff was polite and friendly.besides the sizing of the medium sub roll, it was a good experience and I intend to return. Much better than my first visit a couple years back. I am starting to believe a customer should give an eatery at least 2 times, more think 3 if the prior visits were split good and bad before writing it off. Glad I went back.

WOW.what a huge disappointment.ordered a “make your own sub”, medium with chicken breast (don’t believe the breast description) on wheat (it was either dry or half toasted). I will opt for toasted, give them the benefit of the doubt, they surethink need it, even though they didn’t ask if that is what I wanted. I didn’t see them make it and it was delivered as a take out where I waited. I got it home and the bag was soaked through with a miniscule amount of the vinegar and oil I ordered. I opened the sub and chicken breast that I ordered was chopped chicken that you would use in a salad and a ton and I mean a ton of iceberg lettuce. I ordered extra tomatoes and what I received was 4 thin slices and possibly 4 black olives slices and very few, again chopped peppers and cucumber (2 slices). I couldn’t pick it up. The chopped chicken and peppers wouldn’t stay in the bun. When the order taker said the price was 6.85. I said that is an inexpensive sub. She looked at me as if I caught her with her hand in the cookie jar. Must have known they cheaped out on the “make your own subs”. Subway has better subs or better yet patronize Wegman’s where you get your monies worth. Don’t waste your money or time. Awful!

I enjoy stopping here when I'm in the area. I really like the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. The Jamaican jerk turkey was good too. I appreciate that a portion of each purchase supports first responders.

Had the engineer sub. Was pretty good the pickle needed help. Was so soggy it wouldn't even stand straight. Restaurant was clean and well put together and organized. Staff was nice but didn't help (had no idea what to order being my first time). Decor was interesting and fun to look at. Tables were clean and lots of places to sit. Restroom was clean and well stocked.

Always pleased with the food at Firehouse subs. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve noticed that employees often seem unhappy/annoyed. Not super friendly.

On 3/1/22 at about 2: 50pm. We decided to go to firehouse subs 4405 Milestrip Rd. Blasdell, NY.
A man was sweeping, and a lady behind the counter making sandwiches. He put the broom down and said may I take your order. I gave him my order. He said when it is ready we will call you. I looked over and it looked like he was making my food. I said to him " I want her to make my sandwiches. When he asked why? I told him that you were sweeping the floor and I didn't see you wash your hands. He took off his gloves and went in the back. I heard someone say "it's ok. " I looked again and it looked like he was making my food again. So I asked. He said yes I washed my hands in the back. I said but I asked you not to make my sandwiches. Then this man came from out the back. He said" I am tired of people giving my employees a hard time. " The customer is not always right. I said I told him I didn't want him to make my sandwiches and he ignored my request, now I want my money back. It got worse. I slammed my receipt down on the counter. The man got more angry. I told him to look at the tape, he said I am the owner, I don't have to look at the tape. He told me I gave him a glare. He told me to get out and never come back. I told him don't worry I would not. Please don't waste your time or your money.

The Food didn't have any flavor " The Main Reason is because they don't Grill Any of Their so called Hot Subs/Sandwiches, The Chicken is better than the Steak and even that is Very Rubber like. Not Crazy about the texture of the chicken.

After reading so many positive reviews we figured we'd try it we ordered two subs for takeout the subs were literally soaking wet on the bottom it was like somebody poured water on it the roll literally turned to mush and fell apart they were not even able to be eaten

Owner seemed to be having a super bad day and was taking it out on the customers. Asking a question seemed to not be acceptable. Other staff was very polite and food was prepared jn a very fast manner. Unfortunately dont know if I will be eatting here again.

Dirty store, multiple times had a impatient snippy cashier, and the quality of the ingredients is getting worse each visit. Think twice about coming here.

We used to order from here literally all the time. I always got the same roast beef sub. Last year we ordered and the need I got was cut insanely quick and literally processed blubber. Left such a bad taste I waited a long time to order again. Tonight we gave them another try and I didn’t think it was possible but it was worse. My husband even spit it out and he eats anything. Perhaps they have other subs that are good but unless you like quarter inch thick blubber I don’t recommend the roast beef. They definitely have started to cut corners impacting their quality.

You sure don’t find customer service like this anymore! Very friendly accommodating and nice! The staff here are great and the food is always so fresh and good! We will be back for sure

Sign on counter 3 brownies for 3. $. They were charging me 1.35 each. I questioned it the cashiers came around and read the sign. He took offense that I said better change that. He got nasty towards me
