Fireside Grill & Sports Bar reviews
16Stopped here on our way to Adk from Buffalo. Just a little off our path but was worth it. We had our dog and we were able to sit outside. The service was top notch. Courtney our server was great especially with our son and her suggestions on the menu with him. The food was excellent. I had the French onion soup and crab cake salad and my partner got the kung-fu chickens fingers. Super good. Will be back if we are in the area again and we highly recommend.
Good food and great service. The waitress was very sweet and attentive with our drinks and making sure our food got there to us quickly. Will definitely go again
I can't possibly say enough about the Fireside Grill! The food is fantastic, the service unsurpassed and staff treat you like family. It has become my "go to" for great food and fun!
March 2020- We order great take out and find out the Fireside closed for a bit. We took a break from being out to eat.
November 2020- Long day, don't fell like cooking. I wonder if the Fireside is open? THEY ARE!
Got a turkey Ruben and a chicken wrap to go. Told it would be 30 minutes, it was ready in 29 minutes. Food was really tasty. Staff behind the bar was friendly. People had their masks on, except at their socially distant tables. GOING TO FIND A DAY TO EAT THERE!
I absolutely love the food at this place, One of my favorite’s are the chicken quesadillas they are out of this world! Very nice staff great atmosphere. Just an all round great friendly clean place
Just waited over an hour for a take-out order, and they lost the order. Offered my wife a drink while she would have to wait another hour for dinner. Not sure how you manage to lose an order or how you think a drink makes up for it. Great first experience.
The food is awesome here, their burgers are a must try. Pretty much everything on their menu taste amazing. The best food for miles around.
This place is a semi hidden gem! Great food, great service and good prices. I had the fish fry and it was one of the best I've had. I'll be back soon!
Well this is my first time here with my girlfriend Maritza and first thing I noticed and liked was the bar tender/ waiter "Sean" he unlike many waiters took the time and answered our questions and wasn't in a rush or rushed us as he explained the menu and what's popular. Even giving us his opinions on the menu. Just got the food and its absolutely great. I got the chicken fingers tossed in mild buffalo and my girlfriend got chicken quesadilla and they both were awesome. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back after my first visit make sure to ask for Sean.
My family decided to try fireside to go for dinner, we ordered 2 Fish fry last night. Talk about skimpy on there food, I counted 7 french fries in one container and 6 in the other container.the fish was cold too. Definitely Not worth $15 per fish fry. Not even worth 1 star rating. If you are hungry and craving a fish fry, I do not recommend this restaurant.
Stoped in for lunch while passing through the area. Got there just after they opened at noon and were the first ones there. Took an hour to get our food but was decent.
Nice cozy restaurant and bar. We went with a large group for early Sunday lunch. Everyone's food was very good, large servings excellently presented and served. Waitress was friendly and very accommodating for us.
We ordered pizza, wings, pasta, burgers and they were all satisfying. I had the flat iron steak special which was a magnificent chunk of beef cooked to rare perfection with a good char. Fresh vegetables sides also cooked perfectly, served with garlicky mashed potatoes. Yum.
Good craft beer selection and decent wine list. It was a cold grey day, I wish we had asked the fire place be turned on that would have made it perfect.
I was just here for the drink Long Island with my wife since we live cross a street (highland apartments) service was very good, while my wife was waiting for me to finish the drink one of the staff came over and offer her a glass of water on busy Friday night.
Went with my girlfriend to try it. Her black bean burger was mushy like mashed potatoes and cold in the center. She had ordered a side of bruschetta and it was soaked in vinegar, was like eating a wet napkin. Mozzarella sticks tasted like they had frostbite and were presented on a piece of dry lettuce. The brunch burger I ordered was fine but the onion rings that came with it were tasteless. The amount charged was over the top as well. 55 for the whole meal and everything I talked about was what we ordered. DO NOT EAT HERE! This is clearly just a bar and the food is not the draw here. The only reason this place has good reviews is because all of the sad adults come here to escape their problems with alcohol.
Awesome food, good beer selection, but the bar area is just too small. If you go durring a busy time, be ready to be crowded. I would definitely go here more often if the bar weren't so small.
I’ve been here a number of times and the food is always great. The filet sandwich is easily the best item on the menu. The burgers are also very solid, as are the quesadillas, and the bar makes a great Moscow mule. Sometimes the food is a bit slow coming out of the kitchen, but nothing too bad and the wait staff are always checking in
