17Black Smoke Old Fashioned. Slightly sweet, not so smokey, looks great, and tastes just as good.
I love this place! They specifically target first responders and what's on tap rotates seasonally. I had a Libertea (hard iced tea) on this visit. I was a bit disappointed because they had sold out of the peanut butter and jelly that they had on tap last time I was there.
Beer was good. We didn't have anything to eat. People were friendly and place is very nice.
Very nice staff, good food, craft beer selection is really nice. Buffalo Chicken sandwich was excellent. The black and blue burger was cooked very well but the burger was a bit on the thin side. Fried pickles and truffle fries were also good. Back bay fries were a nice new flavor we hadn't had anywhere before. Easy to get to, off the 219.
Nice enough looking place but disappointing. Small beer selection and they were average at best. The same with the food. We could have dealt with that but the service was below par also. Our waitress was very inattentive. My wife had to go up to the bar at one point to ask her to bring us another round as she was watching TV. The waitress came back with the drinks and an attitude. Not planning on going back.
Beer is very good, fantastic price. Food is good. The best thing is they donate to first responders. You can also pay it forward and buy a beer for police, fire, military, and nurses
Loved the place.tasted the brews, bought a few pints, and left. Very unique pay it forward concent for first responders and vets.
Very cool place. Food was just ok. We were turned off by the bathroom situation. One of those places. It was nice to try it out but not sure if I ever go back.
Thank you all so very very much for your wonderful help and service you all are absolutely amazing; Food was wonderful as well as the drinks we definitely have found a wonderful place to call “ our place “ Thank You all!
Place is nice. Beer and food ok, nothing super to go back for. Waitress was super nice however I was shocked to see that they charged for a sample taste. The waitress didn’t advise us of a charge…. I really don’t want to order a full glass of beer without knowing if I’ll like it I’ve been to many breweries and haven’t ever paid for a taste.
Had our first visit here tonight, and loved it. Our waitress was very attentive, the food was great. I had the black & blue burger, my brother in law had the chicken sandwich and his wife had the first line stackburger. Each one was excellent. The bartender made us a couple old fashioned bourbon drinks (Smokey!) that were also very good.
Definitely stop in here when you’re in orchard park.
Amazing cider Seltzer but totally understaffed to have to wait an hour for a burger. I server and 13 tables full.
I had a coffee beer and appetizer. The beer was quite tasty and the pretzel sticks were solid. The pretzels were served with mustard and cheese on the side, the mustard was quite good. Other people with me had their signature burger and it looked good. That's all I got.
Great, cozy place to hang out, enjoy a beer, Monster Mash, my fav or a delicious Bourbon Smash!
First responder owned, very veteran and first responder friendly. I am in the Navy and was given FREE beer, not discounted. I can't say they will always do that but I was really surprised by that. Staff was super friendly and the beers were very good. Unfortunatley it was pretty late and the kitchen was closed so I couldn't try the food but they had a pretty solid menu. There's a cool burbon bar called Black Smoke at this location as well tucked in between the beer bar and the brewery, very cool! The Blueberry Muffin Ale was super good! Would absolutely recommend!
Beer was alright. Review would be a bit higher if the staff wasn’t impatient and inattentive. I try to support local beer and hope they can improve the service.
