Fitzgibbons Public House reviews
17If I could give negative stars I would. Service and food beyond terrible. Paper left between cheese on burger. 2 measly pieces of fish in the fish and chips. 5 chips with the 2 pieces. 1 hour and 45 minutes to get food. Awful!
Service was a little slow but we were happy about that because there were 10 of us and we enjoyed the extra time. I think they r having the same problem as many restaurants - lack of help. The food was excellent and the waitress was very good. I would go back again. I had the Guinness stew (excellent) n next time having beef on weck (my friends raved about it)
What a wonderful place to sit down & enjoy a good Irish meal! Randy is a very good host & makes you feel welcome from the very beginning! I had a Ruben sandwich & wife had shepards pie, both were very good! And the service was excellent! A good variety of beer too! We will definitely be back!
A great local Irish pub that has your typical Irish nummies as well as some non typical ones. Always a good selection of local beers on draft. Service is always good. If you are in the area they are def worth a visit.
SUCKS! Service was okay, waited over 45 minutes for appetizer, at that rate they would have been closed by the time we recived our meal! Left very unhappy!
This was our first time but NOT our last! Great food and drinks! Everyone was very happy with their choice of lunch and drinks! We had a party of 8, had made reservations and arrived early but we were seated right away and served drinks very quickly. The portions were large and hot! Hot food is my husband's biggest concern, he was very pleased. We loved the ambiance and it was very clean! Highly recommend!
Food was wonderful but the service was horrible and there was no other customers at any tables. We waited forever for our food and drinks. We had to ask several times for our drinks. The waitress kept forgetting what we ordered and even screwed our checks up. Very disappointed.
Great spot but the kitchen and bar close early, and it feels like they can't wait to leave.
Imagine our excitement when we found Beef on Weck on the menu. We're from Florida and have NEVER been able to find anything resembling that-EVER. Here we are-floating down the Erie Canal and we found the most awesome Beef on Weck and fresh horseradish on the planet just one block off the Medina Marina. And, the fries!
Best beef "n' wick and hand cut fries. The restaurant is charming. The food and staff are like comfortable old friends. What a gem.
Will return soon, with friends and family.
Possibly the best hamburger I have ever had, if your traveling through stop by its a must, very nice staff also.
Stopped in randomly for lunch and was not disappointed. Wife and I both had burgers and they were delicious. They were trying a new bun they came out and asked us for feedback on them. The bottoms didn't hold up to the juicy and topping packed burger but the flavor was on point. Will def stop here again if we're back out this way.
The food was delicious. Emily was helpful. The music and atmosphere were delightful and the price was right. We can't wait to go back again.
I dined here with a large group (19 people) last weekend and overall was very pleased with the experience. We were driving in from out of the area, so I made reservations in advance to secure a spot for us. We were seated promptly and ended up having a private room at the back of the restaurant. While it did take longer to get our drinks, and especially our food than I would have expected, we were told that COVID had two employees call out that shift which left them understandably short handed. Out of the 19 orders, everything was served and billed correctly, and I got zero complaints which also never happens so I would be happy to return and enjoy the rest of the menu I didn't get a chance to try this visit.
I don’t know how I haven’t been here before but the food was amazing…the drinks phenomenal. If you are looking for Irish food like Rueben nachos, bangers and mash, shepherds pie, and Guinness stew this is the place to go! Oh and they just started wing Wednesday $. 80 wings! Where else can you find wings that cheap in this economy? Just go there.
Waited for a while, still waiting mind you. I get it's a Thursday and the bar is full but still, only got about our drinks in and still no food. We had to go up to the counter and order. Probably will be here for more than an our. Got onion rings as an appetizer and still haven't gotten them, I'm about to walk out.
We where out in Albion looking for a place to go for lunch and drinks. And this was the closes one at 9 miles away. I'm so glad we decided to make the already long drive a little longer. Because the food was outstanding! The bartender and server where also friendly and helpful. Not to mention the decor inside was on point and very cool to see and appreciate.
