F&J Pine, Bronx NY

The Pine was always a favorite but I haven't been in years since moving. I'm glad to say the food and service was excellent.

First the restroom didn't have hand soap or paper towels which is not good especially when we're not free from covid19 as of yet. The food had no flavor at all the shrimp scampi didn't have the garlic taste and the sauce was bland. The waiter got upset and raised his voice at my colleague bcuz she was asking what was in the dessert she wanted to order smfh unprofessional as hell. Don't recommend this place.

GM was very helpful giving us an acces to the table we just needed. It was great. Plain to stay longer. This is not quick place. Awesome service, excellent food. You don want to miss grilled baby lamb steaks with broccoli rave. Pizza is to die for, just like in Italia. Pine is a good choice.

The best Italian restaurant in the Bronx! I came back to visit the Pine after 16 years of moving out of NY.
THE FOOD WAS EVEN BETTER! Had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti, potatoe croquettes, broccoli rabe, cannoli and a cappuccino. Have never been able to find another restaurant like yours ever. The food was outstanding! You make your people and community proud!

Shout out to Aldi for his graciousness during this time and for holding our place from last years reservation for the Harves Fields Community Church Women's Luncheon 2021. A special thanks to our servers John, Miranda and Dona they did not miss a beat. Last but not least the food was delicious. Your chef's rock!

After 20 years away from NYC and living in Eastern TN my wife and I are so happy to be able to once again eat at The Pine Tavern, Bronx, NY while visiting family. Amazing food as always, amazing atmosphere and amazing service. A once in a lifetime dinning experience. I can die happy now!

A perennial classic great restaurant over the decades. Today was 1st visit in about 10 years, planning to go more often now.

This is a truly authentic Italian old world restaurant. Everything was devine but my favorite the melazane rolatini. It was perfection. Look forward to going the next time I'm home. I had pics but no room on my phone.

I love the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. The food was pretty good. My veal dish was alright, semi bland. I guess I had higher expectations given its price point. I only have good things to say about the creme Brule.

My son & daughter in-law treated me to this restaurant and the food was delicious. The portion are huge so I came home with a doggie bag. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the Pelham Bay. Area.

I ordered a tray for pick up a day ahead. Upon arriving, the valet took care of my vehicle for me which was great, because parking can be an issue here at the Bronxdale location. However, after arriving early for my tray (I was told to be there at 1p.m.), and letting the staff know I was there, (and I also called ahead of time to confirm it was ready), I was forgotten. Literally. People came in, gave their name, got their tray, and left, and Iwaited. I repeated that I was still waiting twice. In the end I waited close to 40 minutes. And the lasagna tray was not that pleasing aesthetically, nor tasty. I found it to be super greasy. I ordered the lasagna tray before and did not like it too much, however I wanted to give it a second try- I love lasagna. But not this one. I'm giving them 2 stars, because of the great valet.

If I could give this place more stars I would! Fabulous atmosphere! Delicious food! Friendly, helpful staff! Worth the money, but parking is a little tricky.

My job had the holiday dinner there. The food was ok the place is nice the service needs more training. I had to find them and ask them to clean the table. The staff was in the back instead of on the floor. Where we can ask for what we need. They did what was asked but they should've been present. Not hiding in the back room

Large portions of typical Italian American fare. Acidy red sauce, over salted dishes, too much grated parm on everything. Mediocre at best. Nice interior renovation, but kind of abrupt/bordering on rude staff. In the Bronx I prefer Italian options in Belmont and City Island. For authentic regional Italian, I'd dine in Mahhattan or Westchester.

We had my brothers birthday party there. The food is delicious and the service attentive. We had a family style feast.

1) I called ahead for a couple of sandwiches at 10: 48am. Was told it would be ready in 15 min. It was over 30 minutes before I got my order. 2) I was not offered a courtesy drink, that's fine, but the white couple also waiting, I'm latino, was offered coffee, water and soda. 3) the meatball parmigiana sandwiches could use a little more sauce.

This is one of my top spots to go to. The food here is top notch. Everything is delicious. From the pasta to the seafood to the chicken to the veal to the steak. All the appetizers are great. Desserts are great. Full bar selection. Large wine selection. The place itself is huge. Lots of tables and a few different party rooms. While the place itself looks upscale, they are very lenient on the dress code. I've yet to see anyone declined for attire. Jeans are fine and you'll see plenty of shorts and t-shirts in the summer. Overall this place is a hit.

Great food, ambiance and service, went to dinner with my family and we all enjoyed our meal as well as the wine and cocktails. I am definitely returning.
