Extremely well stocked with great prices on USDA labeled organic brands and produce. Great deals for members too. Very nice selection in the bulk section. High quality chocolate is often on sale, so is coffee. The staff are the nicest people working in grocery stores I have ever encountered.

If you are familiar with Sprouts or Trader Joe's or Grocery Outlet on the West Coast, then you'll be right at home at the Brooklyn Co-op. Super high quality food, much not available in ordinary supermarkets, fair prices, nice folks, clean and modern.

This place says community but they discriminate against people who are not vacxed or wearing mask and violate the rights of community members - as in nyc the law for masks and ban for vax has been lifted and their illegally enforcing mandates that no longer are valid in the city - do not join the co op or give them the money if you’re into human rights not being violated

Great organic food store that you can shop at without a membership. Good variety and sales! Members earn discounts and dividends at the end of the year depending on how much you spend.

Great selection however: watch what they charge you, on more than one occasion I have been charged for 4 cans of beer when I was only buying one. It happened again today but I caught it before paying, and when I questioned them they said “it’s expensive beer” - the price was actually the price for four beers, but I was only buying one. $12 for some off-grapes. No thank you. Nice stuff, nice people, utter rip-off and completely dishonest

I don’t like that prices can be on the higher side or that I was told over the phone that I can’t get price information for products. Why the 5 stars? This is the only health food grocery store still enforcing mask wearing and as someone whose health was ruined by covid19, I’m ever so grateful to have this as an option in the neighborhood. If you’re still someone looking to avoid getting covid19, shop here! They also still wipe the carts and provide wipes for the cart. I stick to the sale items in the flyers which can be found online so I can afford it here. It is always clean and they have a variety of selection. The price is worth my health and the health of loved ones.

Amazingly always seems to be open, always clean, always fresh, always friendly. Love being members.

My favorite grocery store in Brooklyn. They have local, fresh, and organic foods. Bulk dry goods and fresh ground coffee. There's a small Deli section with fresh juices and ready to go sandwiches and hot soup. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Pricey, but that’s the only place in the neighborhood that offer large selection of organic products.

Probably the worst service but given the area it’s in I understand but folks from other areas be aware

I had made a purchase and asked the cashier if they had a restroom that I could use? The cashier said in a rude and arrogant tone "No, we don't have bathrooms. ". Really, they don't have bathrooms! I could see, if I came on off the street and didn't buy anything. I just finished shopping.

This place is totally out of control.
Prices are insane, veg and fruit is old and musty no one bothers to take off rotten tomatoes or leeks or what not off the shelf. No more sliced meats or cheese at the deli. One bell pepper $6! Forget it it’s a total rip off.never again
