Fleet Feet @ The Armory, Rochester NY

I was told to try to a pair of Hoka's from people at the Y. I'm not a runner but I try to walk 5 miles a day and some jogging.after years of foot problems I decided to finally find some Hoka's. I went to the Culver rd Armory and met an associate named Alex, he was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and was extremely helpful. I bought a pair of Hoka's and was happy. Went to the Y the next day and had a problem while jogging so I went to Fleet Feet store across from Eastview to return them. Was surprised to see Alex there along with Barb and they accommodated my return and I purchased another pair of Hokas. "THE " Most helpful sales staff and very Friendly. My feet feel like I'm a different person now. You get what you pay for. I've had them all Nike NB Reebok Asic's etc.the Hoka's are where its at for me.and the Fleet Feet Store Rocks them all. Will return to purchase again.thank you again Alex

Alex was so kind and helpful in analyzing my very flat feet, and finding the MOST comfortable shoes and inserts. I’ve been so frustrated with my feet and can never buy cute shoes. Thank you Alex!

Was not at all happy with my experience there. The “expert” told me I had a regular feet with the exception that my left foot was just under 7.5 in size and my right was just under 7.75 in size. He recommended an 8 because of the size of my right foot. Well after giving the sneakers time to get worn in, after about a week my right heal was painful. The last day I wore them when I took them off and removed my sock the heal on my right foot was totally blistered and near the arch on the outside right I also had a Hugh blister filled with liquid. Since my pediatrist recommended this place I went to my primary doctor and he said I had to stay away from the gym for 10-14 days because of the blisters. He also suggested, what I already figured out, that I should probably have been told to get a 7.5 sneaker because the 8 was causing friction on my heal area and after time caused the blisters. This should not happen when I spent $170 for the sneakers there. I went to Kohls. Purchased 2 pair for under $90. Yes one pair is the same brand as the ones I purchased here. Will let you know how they work out once I can get back to the gym. Not happy I can’t go for two weeks.

Hands down one of the best customer service experiences I've had. No sales were pushed. They showed a deep passion for running and shoes. If there was a particular running style the sales person wasn't familiar with, he had a friend or another store associate that could speak authoritatively.

10-28-22 there is no better place to get your running gear. Ellen and the staff at the armory are so nice and helpful. They carry all the major brands. My wife and I try to support as many races as we can.

Beautiful store. Ckean. Staff so friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable about all sjoes. Answered all my questions. Really cool digital scan of feet to help fit you for best shoe. Very generous return policy! I'm thankful for that! Bought a great new pair of Brooks! Love them! I will definetly go back again and again for shoes.

I hate shoe shopping and this was fantastic. They scanned my feet and an associate brought me shoes to try on. Out of about 6 options I loved two and bought one! Easiest, low stress shoe buying experience I've ever had

Want to give a big shout out to the store, especially Tyler, who provided great customer service when we needed to resolve a defect with a pair of shoes 5 months after purchase. They were able to provide an exchange and work out the issue with Nike. Great selection of shoes and patient and attentive staff (Tyler)

I had a great experience at Fleet Feet @ The Armory! I will be running cross country this fall and came in looking for a new pair of sneakers. I was politely greeted at the door and an employee was immediately ready to help me. They were patient, knowledgeable, and friendly while helping me find a pair of shoes. I appreciated that I was finding something that felt comfortable and was not persuaded into buying something expensive. If you are a true runner this is the place for you!

The staff are super friendly. They explain your assessment and really try to reach you about the process without being pushy. I worked with Alex and he's a superstar. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful staff, very knowledgeable and helpful. They're there to ensure you're in the best gear for your body, not whatever is most expensive. They always make me feel valued whether I'm picking up new shoes or just picking a race packet and not buying anything at all.

Had an appointment for a fitting today. Amanda was absolutely fantastic! She was very informative, professional and patient with having my daughter there as well. Amanda made excellent recommendations and though they did have the shoe that I ultimately settled on, she helped me with ordering them right then and there! Wonderful experience all around!
