Fleischman, A Men's Salon, New York NY

I've been coming to Fleischman for over a year, having first discovered Erica via social media advertising. Erica and her team are absolutely a cut above (lol pun intended) in terms of men's hair, especially in terms of their skill but also in terms of service, efficiency, and professionalism. I've had incredible experiences with Erica, Trish, Yasmine, and Madison taking care of my hair. Madison is my current go-to (thank you!) but you're in great hands with anyone here. So glad to have discovered Fleischman!

My favorite place I’ve ever found for a cut. The salon staff is extremely skilled, as well as kind and welcoming whenever I come in. I’ve been seeing Martha for about a year. They’ve taken great care of me and have me feeling better than ever about my hair.

Madison does an outstanding job with her haircuts. Her skill with the scissors is truly impressive and she carries a friendly and approachable attitude that makes the experience even better. The salon has a cool, modern vibe, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere. I'd confidently recommend Madison for anyone in search of a top-notch haircut. Easy 5/5 for me.

Started out great — booking was easy, hair washing great, comfortable chair. Cool.

But the haircut is one of the worst I've had in a long, long time. It's like she had never cut / styled curly hair before. Huge chunks cut out on one side, huge chunks left on the other, and "dealt with" by crisping my hair with scorching air from 2 inches away to desperately smash it and straighten it into place with a gel.

Of course, I step out into the light wind, my hair puffs out, and the rest of the day I look like a matchstick got into a fight with Skrillex. And now my hair feels like straw. Awesome.

When I mentioned what I was seeing (the chunks, that my hair doesn't straighten, etc.), she basically said just wait until it's done, and I try to be respectful of professionals. Never again.

I have been a customer of Erica's since 2014. Her and her staff do an exceptional job.

Paris did an amazing job cutting my hair and was very professional. Usually hairdressers cut my hair too short, but she took into account all my reference photos and asked me questions about my hair to give me the best possible cut, which she did. Highly reccomend.

Tricia is an excellent stylist for men’s hair. It is difficult to find a salon and stylist who can cut difficult mens hair and have it last for weeks. I have tried to every high end salon in NYC and Fleischman has there own technique which works. I highly recommend Tricia. She is talented, experienced and great to spend time with while getting a haircut!

Yasmeen has been cutting my hair for years. She’s amazing - highly skilled at her craft, carefully listens at the beginning of each appointment and is always incredibly friendly. As an added bonus the salon has a great environment and the broader staff is fantastic. I can’t say enough nice things about Fleischman!
