Flipside Gaming - Clifton Park

Stopped in for the first time today. They had a great selection of DnD products, MtG cards and board games. I'm glad to have found another friendly local game shop. Anthony was very helpful when I was checking the release dates for a few products. I'll be happy to return here in the future.

2022 - New location. Much larger selection!
2019 - Staff is kind. Store always seems filled with teens/adults. I hope this place never closes.

Ordered brothers war mtg 2 set boxes and a collectors box.set boxes had thick plastic covers with really small mtg symbols which means some one opened them and the collectors box was gone thru packs were slightly opened on both ends and u could clearly see seal marks were someone sealed them back together won't be ordering from flipside again very dissatisfied

A group of us went on Saturday and they had a tournament going inside. We found a few random things and walked out happy.
My better half and I returned on Monday, and we checked prices, they were either matched or lower.
We bought a few more items of worth to us, plus the dice goblin took over and we walked with 2 more sets of dice.
Anthony was the bomb (thank you Anthony, you made Angela very happy) and helped us out tremendously. He also said if he didn't have it, he would at least look for us.

Felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed, have been back twice and has not improved. I dont like to accuse people of discrimination without cause, but I really believe that my demographics are the main reason I was treated so rudely. Wont be spending my time or money there again, especially since other card shops in the area never made me feel so hated

Never been to the store itself, but I have purchased frequently from them through ebay over the last several years.
Their communication is always great and so is their packing and shipping.
On the rare occasions that something has gone wrong with an order they're always quick to remedy the situation.
Don't know if I'll ever get the chance to visit in store, but through ebay, I definitely recommend!

I recently got into 40k and don't even live near Flipside but recommend them. Their prices are unbeatable and their customer service is top notch.

Most of what is in this Pic, including supplies, came from them. And I saved 20% off retail

Great people, friendly and helpful. I am new to MTG, so they have given me lots of insight into deck building. Fair prices and comfortable atmosphere, what more could you want?

Pros the employees are super nice and helpful. Also they almost always have stuff in stock.
Cons the prices are just as bad as scalpers. Some items were more then double retail prices

I've never actually bought or sold any cards here. I just stop buy to pick up some food or drinks occasionally. Great service.

Visited this place for the 1st time the other day with my 11y/o & it was a wonderful experience. These kids drive me crazy with always wanting those pokeman cards things. It seems like all of our normal purchasing spots DT, WM, TG & GS never have them in stock anymore.so it was nice to see the selection of items when we walked in. The guy who works there was so very nice, helpful & knowledgeable. The prices seem be the same as other stores. My kid cannot stop talking about this place. We will definitely be making more purchases from here. Another store added to our list, thx!

Pretty nasty staff, and outright hostile members of their social media team. Expect to get blocked from their social pages if you're not showering them with praise. Everything you can get here, you can get better, faster, and cheaper elsewhere while having a much more pleasant customer service experience. Prime example of why LGS' are going the way of the dinosaur.

Shoutout to Jeremy, I literally just left this place but it was the best experience. I've gone to a couple nerd shops in my area, and ended up going on a bit of a drive for this place—so worth it. Jeremy at the counter was very nice, very knowledgeable and helpful, and non-intrusive with conversation (I can sometimes feel pressured at other places but this was not the case here). Great MTG selection, as well as DND and Pokemon Great reasonable pricing too, I don't go anywhere else anymore lol

The guy at the register was really friendly and knowledgeable, and they had a great selection and a really fun gaming room.

I have been going to Flipside gaming for almost 2 years now. This is a local gaming store that you just can't sleep on. As a Magic: the Gathering player, I can tell you that they run high quality events, they give the best trade-in value for trading card game singles of anywhere that I have found, the staff are very friendly and professional, and you can find unbeatable deals especially when it comes to prerelease events. I cannot overstate how the customer service here is at a much higher level than it is at the local gaming store that is a little closer to me whose name I will not mention. Can't wait for in-person events to reopen.

A nice little shop and the employee there seemed nice and helpful to me and the other customers. A pretty good selection of Magic and Pokémon cards

Did not have everything I was looking for; but offered to order. Gave great directions on how do find them. Allowed purchase over the phone, with super easy in store pick up.

1st time there, trying to trade cards. Staff member was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely return, especially once play is open again.

Awesome staff, very friendly and knowledgeable about Pokémon cards for my son and I. The guy there helped us out so much and prices were competitive with online prices. Will definitely come back!

Don’t be discouraged when you get there, it doesn’t look like there any stores in the building but the store is on second floor left side.
